I just used this soundtrack in my last video, and let me just say the "Full Hive Lord" soundtrack in this update SLAPS. It captures the horror of the once vibrant planet, Oshaune, now turned into a giant monstrous cesspool of genetically enhanced pests. Every encounter has a different pace in the soundtrack, and it's literally PERFECT. From the slow eery chimes as you first land in, hoping you're not seen by these disgusting abominations, to the immediate shift into terror when you're discovered, and the battle begins. But ALL of it is overshadowed by the entrance of the Hive Lord. Not only does the Commander of your ship practically say, "God be with you," but the change in tempo and atmosphere in the soundtrack is crazy. If I could describe the track in one word, I would say "Behemoth" or "Doom." I know I may seem crazy for diving so deep into the music in a game, but I truly believe that music is one of the most important aspects of driving awesome moments in a game all the way home. That's why Halo and Dark Souls has such impactful moments; because you dont just see these moments, you FEEL it. I implore you to go and listen to it and appreciate the shifts in the atmosphere as you play on Oshaune. Absolute Masterpiece.
