Okay so I have been scanning with my Epson GTX-830 *V550/V600 in N. America? Ever since i started my You tube channel its starting to show its age as in visible lines starting to appear making content on it (cant get it fixed cleaning the sensor).. probably will be making a video on it. also not to mention is discontinued oh my goodness.

I would love to hear from my honorable film community and followers about mirrorless scanning especially if anyone has experience would be really great to hear from you ppl if you tried any method Im guessing using Valois face down scanning kit (the easy 120 scanner price is exactly the same as the professional one) and probably reading it in Negative L P in Lightroom.

if you have any advice on mirrorless scanning anything will be welcomed.

I unfortunately caught a cold which isnt problematic but whats problematic is my voice is like crap dont turn my account down Youtube but more like that Artlist Voiceover hulky type of voice that I despise. I have to say its not a rasphy old man but more frail old man...so beforehand that my next video will be on hold since although I made the visiting camera shop part me talking like Hulk like a raphsy old man....not happening unfortuantly so guys please be patient will I recover from this cold.....and yeah thanks for following me up to this point....wanted to make video every week.

I upgraded to Squarespace 7.1 still in the process of relearning since the format completely changed but trying to make a blog for camera shops this is gonna take forever :D

Okay so an update for my loyal people who follow me, I did a coverage of Oumi Camera which I covered which was stricken by a neighbors fire hazard oh gawd...Turns out the people there are okay and they started business recently 2025 6/4 to be exact so if you are curious they are opened from now on.

Normally I do not do any video regarding tech/computer since this is a film channel but my friend in Toronto, ON kept bothering, stalking me what PC I currently use to edit photos, video (youtube) and content absorption
I ll just give you guys a list (normally if you edit only photos this is actually more than enough in my personal opinion)

I currently as of 2025 (this might change since I really want to edit faster/render video faster to shave time)
but my desktop which all my video is edited is on my DIYed PC

and basically store my footage on a 6TB Hard Drive (Seagate Barracuda) which I snagged for 60$

to be honest with you guys. if DIY/PC isnt your thing the shortcut would obviously be the Mac Mini base model which is more than enough (I just cant love the folder organization on Mac OS) and plug an external SSD drive and monitor and good to go.

Just out of curiosity do you edit your photos/lab scans on a mac or windows?

Fuji Aparently released the Fuji 400 in Tokyo ( which is suppose to replace the Xtra 400/Superia 400) ending production to shift to the Fuji 400 which has been selling in N. America? I havent shot with it and alot of people are commenting its a Kodak Film Stock (rebadged/rebranded whats your take? )

Good Evening. Another Poll for you guys...

this got me curious and its been bothering me for a while....

Are you guys interested in me shooting with the Fujifilms film simulations? I dont want to do a comparison since its gonna get chaotic 10 film simulations at oncewas it? (like one video one simulation?provia/velvia/classichrome/nostagicneg etc etc thats gonna be a series....) like once every 2 months or so...need to make schedule if that happens...

or more like lenses (the more affordable manual lenses for digital) I did one for TTartisans 50mm F2 and Zhongyi MItakon 35mm F0.95 to give you guys insight of shooting with digital but manual lense?

or more give me more film related videos....
