I did this for Eurovision 2025 and I thought i would do it again for this year as I liked doing it.
🇦🇱 - Wow! Easily one of my favourite Albanian entries ever! Really good winner of FIK!
🇲🇪 - Not my favourite from Montesong, would have preferred a Temperatura or Dominos win but this is decent as well! Wouldn't be surprised to see this get Montenegro out of the semis!

Even though my interest in Eurovision is limited for next year, I am still very excited for National final season and its kicked off well!
Statement on the EBU and plans for Eurovision 2026 following last week's EBU General Assembly:
Sorry it took so long for me to get around to this but ive been really busy with work since it happened and haven't gotten around to it.
First of all I just wanted to say that I am really disappointed by the result of the assembly and that the EBU are prioritising Israel over multiple other countries and still allowing them to blatantly bend the rules of the competition.
The fact that the EBU continues to ignore what Israel is doing is disgusting and I'm glad that some broadcasters have had the backbone to stand up to it and leave the contest until it changes.
In terms of what I plan to do for Eurovision 2026, I am going to continue to cover the National Finals and continue to post rankings for as many of them as I can but for videos directly about Eurovision 2026 will either not make any or I will exclude Israel from them, I'm still not 100% sure which way I will do things but thats the plan.
I have a lot of videos planned that I really want to do so those wont be affected, I love making videos and I don't want to stop that. I just hope that the contest goes back to something great, because its at a real risk of dying soon!

I've decided to include a song if google says it's genre is a type of Rock song there might be a few questionable ones but I guess Rock is quite a loose genre.
I am currently in the process of making a video based on a viewers request: The Best Rock Song at Eurovision Each Year
I can't work out what songs in 2019 and 2020 would be classed as Rock. It can be any time of Rock song - Pop Rock, Folk Rock, Indie Rock, Heavy Metal etc.
If you could leave a comment saying what songs at Eurovision 2019 and 2020 were Rock then that would be greatly appreciated!
And one more thing: Would you class Finland 2023 as Rock?
Thank god for Austria at the end there, I was seriously getting worried.
I do really like Wasted Love as a song, but I really struggle to connect with the live performance.
Two operatic songs winning in a row makes me worried about the sort of songs we are going to get next year.
Sweden flopping in the televote is surprising but I was worried because I was getting the feeling that everyone was loving them but not wanting to vote for them and clearly I was right.
Estonia doing better than Sweden is a massive crime by the way, in no world did that deserve to happen.
Final Thoughts:
Hopefully I can go to Austria next year and I'm just grateful that Sweden didn't come 2nd, I would not be able to deal with another winner of mine coming 2nd.

I am planning to do a video where I rank entries from countries the year before a win (Example: Austria 2024, Switzerland 2023 etc.)
I am unsure of what to do about Italy's 2021 win and whether I should use Soldi or Fai Rumore for that one.

One more note:
The EBU needs to do something about Israel!
Either ban them (that's the preferred option) or at a very minimum ban advertising for votes because that is such a scummy way of doing things!
