I've been inspired by the talented, knowledgeable, and just wonderful people who've been feeding me with great content about the toys, shows, books, comics, films, and music I grew up with. This was super helpful during the pandemic, and it got me to open up and meet others who got geeky and passionate about the same cultural touchstones. So I figure it's time to try my hand at generating cool content and contributing to the different communities I've come to love. So welcome to Brick Something, where we'll get get down and dirty talking about stuff that brings me joy, makes me think, and keeps my creative wheels spinning. One of my first 6” action figure lines was…wait for it…Chuck Norris Karate Kommandos!!! Ha. Had a blast with Jay @GeekDadLife and Dan @SecretGalaxyTV doing a short and sweet @toygeeks rundown of this awkward yet ultimately cool Kenner toyline. We talk chest hair, the mustache, 80s revisionist history, and the Japanese consultants that may have tried to sabotage the line. All part of the grieving process. Check it out. ✌🏾➕✊🏾
