Let me pretend Athena had a childhood and didn’t burst out fully grown up. I’ve always thought of her as the oldest sibling. God Games just gives such big sister done with her siblings energy. Or maybe I’m projecting…
I was gonna start working on Hades in God Games, but I wanna animate Hestia first cause she deserves it! (and I may or may not use Casper’s Hades version) Here are the two versions I’m stuck on for Hestia.
I don’t really share anything personal on here but as I previously mentioned I’ve been having a rough couple of days and it only got worse. These are pictures of my baby boy Karma (no not after the Taylor Swift song but it’s a fun coincidence). I found him back in 2020 and decided to keep him. These past couple of days he was refusing to eat or drink water even after taking him to the vet. I took him again yesterday only for him to pass away at the clinic. All this to say that I probably won’t post anything for a while so consider this a hiatus. Please don’t ask me for new animatics. Right now I’m just trying to remember my baby how he was before he got sick and I think it’s gonna take time for me to recover.
To anyone who has lost a beloved pet before, I’m so sorry for your loss. This isn’t a pain I would wish on anyone. It’s utterly gutting and it feels like a part of me went with him.
He was the sweetest boy and he never scratched anyone on purpose. He was the embodiment of the phrase “scaredy cat” but he was my scaredy cat. He had a derpy little face and an even derpier meow that sounded more like a chirp but he was my baby. He was healthy up until Monday and he just got bad so fast. I wasn’t mentally prepare to lose him so now I’m doing my best to grapple with his passing.
I get his ashes in two weeks, here’s hoping that I don’t cry myself to sleep again 🤞
