Hosting Selection Rules: World Cup 2046
1. Eligible Confederations
In accordance with the continental rotation policy, only member associations belonging to the following confederations are eligible to submit bids for this cycle:
AFC (Asian Football Confederation)
CONMEBOL (South American Football Confederation)
2. Submission Limits
To ensure a focused evaluation process, the following restrictions apply to all bidding entities:
Maximum Proposals: Each member association or coalition may submit no more than 2 distinct proposals (e.g., different venue clusters or hosting models).
Any entity exceeding this limit will have all their submissions disqualified from the selection process.
3. Submission Deadline
All final suggestions and supporting documentation must be officially registered no later than:
Deadline: May 10, 2026
Time: 16:00 (CET)
Important Note: Submissions received after this deadline will not be considered.
