A new video drops on Monday and I wanted to kick things off with a poll about how you manage your photography and/or videography storage.
In my years of working retail and freelance for a lot of different photographers, it's become apparent that not everyone out there is backing up their work. Are you? If so, how do you go about it?
This is the final week to get in touch with your nearest participating Ilford Harman dealer to take part in the ULF 2025 Special Order program.
If you're looking for some of the best prices from North American dealers, I'd recommend checking out the good folks over at The @FilmPhotographyProject Store:
Hey Y'All, long time and all that. I'm going to leverage this platform today to share with you a video that I think every photographer should see.
@tonysantophotography Does an excellent job breaking down what elements of diet and exercise are critical to being able to shoot what you want for as long as you want.
Sadly in this video Tony isn't reviewing, critiquing, or selling anything, thus the algorithm has pushed it down below the mountain of AI slop and hype for new 35mm cameras that don't exist.
Don't sleep on your health, and do another large format shooter a solid by checking out this video!
This past weekend was a blast! Over 200 film shooters converged on downtown Columbus to walk the Scioto Mile, soak in the Spring weather, and share their love of film over some beers.
Mark your calendars, Saturday April 13th there's going to be a downtown Columbus film photography meetup, hosted by @TheDarkroomLab with special guests @mattdayphoto and the @FilmPhotographyProject. There will be a photo walk early in the afternoon followed by Beers & Cameras at Land Grant Brewing Company.
My favorite time of the year to hit the darkroom is now upon us. Starting now through 12AM EST January 3rd, The Birthday Sale is now LIVE. I'm 38 this year, meaning all prints on the website start at just $38! Head on over to:
Are you printing anything for Cyanotype Day? Let me know in the comments and if you're in the Central Ohio region, hope to see you at Hilltop Cyanotype Day tomorrow afternoon!
Happy Ultra-Large Format Friday! Today is the last day to get in your orders for the Ilford ULF special order program. If you're looking for B&W films in sheet and roll sizes other than 4x5, 5x7, or 8x10, this is it!
Orders placed during the ULF program typically ship in late Fall/early Winter of the same calendar year, so expect those big sheets just in time for the holidays.
