I get a lot of comments and I see it on other bodycam channels too where people say, “Remind me not to go to this city, since all these videos are from there.” I want to clear up that myth.
We request footage from all over the country, but every state and city has different rules about what their departments are required (or willing) to release to the public and the media. The cities you see most often are actually the ones that are the most transparent and open, they don’t have anything to hide. It’s a good example of “survivor bias.”
So I just want to say thank you to the departments that show up frequently on our channel. Your commitment to being open with the public really matters.
NBC 5 secures first interview with Samantha after her alleged DUI bodycam goes viral, here's what she had to say:
In the interview she: - Denies being drunk. - Claims the open bottle of wine in her car was leftover from lunch. - Denies saying the officer had a small 🍆 - Claims a pituitary tumour led to a loss of peripheral vision. - Indicates that 'medication interfered'. - Launches her campaign for Cook County Assessor - indicates her opponent is a 'rich white man buying office'
She is due in court later this year. Do you think she will be found guilty?
the grand jury declined to indict on the following charges — meaning these charges were dropped and will not proceed to trial:
❌ Tampering With Evidence (F3) ❌ Assault on a Peace Officer (F4) ❌ Escape (M3) ❌ Operating a Vehicle Under the Influence (OVI) (M1)
🧾 These charges were officially marked as “No True Bill”, which indicates that the grand jury did not find enough evidence to move forward.
➡️ The case remains open, and other charges may still be pending (resisting arrest). The next court date is currently scheduled for May 6, 2025.
🧾 He’s also filed a motion for Intervention in Lieu of Conviction (ILC) — a program often offered to non-violent offenders dealing with substance abuse or mental health issues. If accepted:
He may complete rehab, counseling, or probation-type supervision
His charges could be dismissed entirely upon successful completion.
