salm 34 was written during one of the most difficult moments in David’s life.

David was not sitting on a throne when he wrote these words.
He was running for his life, hiding from King Saul, surrounded by uncertainty and fear.

Yet in the middle of that situation, David wrote:

“I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.”
— Psalm 34:1

David understood something many of us forget: worship is not only for the good days. It is also for the days when life feels uncertain.

Later in the same psalm he writes:

“I sought the Lord, and He answered me and delivered me from all my fears.”
— Psalm 34:4

And again:

“The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and He delivers them.”
— Psalm 34:7

David’s life reminds us of this truth: God does not wait for our lives to become perfect before He moves. Often, He meets us right in the middle of our struggles.

If you are going through a difficult season today, remember this:

God sees you.
God hears you.
And God is near.

“I sought the Lord, and He answered me.”
— Psalm 34:4
