I am a PhD engineer (it's not just a clever name) that is passionate about gaming, especially simulation, automation, and logistics games. My channel currently focuses on my favorite game, Satisfactory.
You can expect tutorials, tips & tricks, and let's play videos with a bit of chill California personality. If you are looking for perfection or builds so big they break the game, I am not your guy. However, I am pretty good at the game and can't wait to share some of my efficient designs and cool factories built on a large but reasonable scale.

I have been underwhelmed by the Satisfactory Update 8 teasers so far, but this one (https://youtu.be/rss1ausDSv8) has my interest piqued! Did you guys spot anything new other than this?
It looked like there was a new machine, but I think it was just a coal generator next to power storage.

I am working a nuclear power guide for you all, but it is taking me a bit longer than normal to get everything taken care of. Be on the look out for my next Satisfactory guide next week.
In the meantime, I have quick tutorial on how to make the perfect house in Valheim coming out tomorrow. If you haven't tried out Valheim yet, there has never been an easier time to get into with its release on Xbox Game Pass on 3/14.
It doesn't have the automation of Satisfactory, but it has a similar sense of discovery and building complexity that I really like. I think most Satisfactory players would like Valheim, especially if you are into the building/aesthetic side of the game.

I am excited to start a new mini-series tomorrow about my big new turbo motor factory, otherwise known as Turboville. The first video is on my subway station and train tunnels, which deliver half of the materials for the factory (and me from all over the map).
The whole factory is going to be laid out like a small town, using some of the blueprints that I have shown in my previous videos and a few new ones as well. It should end up being 5 or so videos, each one documenting a completed part of the factory. I hope you like them!

If you don't know, creators don't get any money from ads played on your videos until you have 1,000 subscribers. I just hit that number (and a few more) today and want thank all my subs for letting me earn a couple of bucks (literally) doing something really fun.

A little look behind the video-making curtain here....I had COVID while I was making my most recent Satisfactory video (https://youtu.be/2sh6t-xjG-8) and lost my voice. Listen to my voice turn scratchy after the first minute or so.
Without my voice for a while, I was forced to try a different workflow. I recorded my voiceover with a "script" and then grabbed clips from my previously recorded gameplay. The end product turned out to be a shorter, more heavily edited video than most of my others. Do you guys like this more concise "recap" style or do you like the continuity of the longer videos?
