Promoting disaster preparedness AKA prepping and survival to those that have an interest. Whether you're new to Prepping or you're a seasoned prepper, I hope I can pass on (and learn from you), some of the tips and strategies that I've picked up over the last 25 + years.
Whatever, you're prepping for, normal life hiccups such as a power cut or loss of earnings, through to a pandemic or major SHTF disaster.
I am based in the UK and we face different issues compared to the US. But this doesn't mean that we need not prepare. Doesn't matter where you live. Disasters can occur at short notice and it makes sense to have sensible preps in place.
UK Prepping Forums may be a little retro for some people but they do hold a wealth of information and you get to interact with likeminded people. Why not register and partake in "prepping" subjects?

Does your Bug out bag contain everything you "think" you'll ever need or have you stream lined for what you think are the most likely scenarios for YOU. IE Your bag will get you to a friends, family member or hotel. Or you'll go camp in the woods, or do you have a number of "kits" that you can grab and go depending on the emergency...

It's been a bittersweet few days. On Monday I learned of the passing of one of the greatest, most knowledgeable Preppers within the UK and one of only a handful that I'd ever class as expert in their field. David was a true, kind gentleman.
David E Crossley sadly passed away. David or David C as he was known online had been a Moderator on our forums for 15 years and prior to us had been a respected member of Ludlow Survivors. David served his country and visited many conflict zones, he later took employment with the British Red Cross as their Training Manager, had written for many magazines and of course was a renowned author.
He will be sorely missed by all of us and our thoughts and prayers are with his beloved Pat and the friends and family.
On Wednesday we welcome a pretty young lady into our household, at 6 months I'm expecting nothing more than laughs and chaos.
