Aside from a slight shift in scene order, this cut mostly adds deleted/extended scenes and uncut gore footage that was cut out during the editing process. The aforementioned shift in structure occurs directly after David’s death. In the theatrical cut, David is killed and the film cuts back to Tina and Nick running into her house, having just discovered Michael’s body in the woods. Then the film goes back to the party house where Eddie is killed downstairs, Robin is thrown out of the window upstairs, and it returns to Tina and Nick arguing. Originally, Jason goes directly upstairs after killing David and dispatches Robin with a machete. This means that the scene that now follows her death is the one of Tina and Nick running into the house. From there the movie plays out the same until Eddie’s death, which cuts directly back to Tina and Nick arguing. Whereas theatrically, Robin’s window-crashing death would have played before we cut back to Tina and Nick.
