So it turns out pretty much all of my content from the last 3 years disappears if you have YouTube's new "Restricted Mode" enabled. Meaning you likely won't see any of my new videos either. So do me and many other creators a favor and check if it was enabled automatically for you and disable it. On desktop it's in the list when you click on your channel icon in the top right, on mobile it's in "You" (bottom right) -> Cogwheel icon (top right) -> General. Some people reported that it's only enabled on one device but not on others, so check all of your devices you use YouTube on.

Love when YouTube silenty introduces broken features and turn them on by default without asking...

Hey everyone! I wanted to give you all a quick update on my future plans for streams and videos.

As you may have seen already, a few things have changed - I'm streaming a lot less, there's more frequent uploads on my 2nd channel, and the main channel consists of narrated, essay-style videos these days. I've been wanting to restructure how I run my channels for a while now, so here's what I came up with:

*THE MAIN CHANNEL*
This channel will focus on narrated, topic-focused content from now on. Extensive game reviews, narrated gameplays and challenges, covering racing game related topics - that sort of thing. This is something I already used to do in back in 2022, and I want to focus more on these kinds of videos to improve my craft. This unfortunately means that there will be no more stream highlight videos on the main channel. It's just not something I'm passionate about making anymore - I think with the last few GT4 challenges I have perfected what I wanted to get out of these kinds of videos. There's nothing left to achieve or improve on for me anymore. Furthermore I want my videos to be just as enjoyable when you're just listening and not actively watching, and I think essay-style videos work better in that way. My goal is to upload at least one video per month, but some topics may need more work and attention.

*THE SECOND CHANNEL*
This is my place to talk about topics I wouldn't make full-length videos on. Most of the time this will be anything that's currently relevant in the racing game space, but also more niche topics or even casual reviews on non-racing games I've played. It's a lot more opinionated and spontaneous than my main channel, and the goal is to have semi-frequent uploads - about 3 videos per week is what I want to aim for. I'm not gonna lie, this going to be a slop channel where each video won't take me more than a day to make. Since I don't have a Patreon or sponsors to rely on, I need the extra income to support myself. Between everything, this seemed like the "lesser evil" since you can simply ignore the channel if you're not interested.

*THE STREAMS*
Since running three active channels will take a lot of time, I am going to cut down the streams to be weekend-exclusive. So I will only be live on either Saturday or Sunday, however to make up for it each stream will be packed with more games and ideas. Basically I want to cram 2-3 streams worth of content into a single stream, switching between games and whatever else I have planned. I may also stream for longer, around 6 hours instead of the usual 3-4 hours. Each portion of the stream will ideally be up on the VOD channel over the next week if you missed something.

That about covers it all. I know some of you may be disappointed with the absence of stream highlights, but I hope you can find something else to enjoy. And who knows, maybe I'll return to them some day. But overall I'm always looking to evolve my content and improve as a creator, that's always going to be my priority. Hi (again)! Didn't think I would make another post so soon, but this time I need your help! My plan was to make a review on a certain racing game, including an interview with one of the head developers. However I decided to delay the video a bit so it can come out close to a large update that's planned for the game.

So, this means I will instead work on another video I had planned to make for a while - one on bugs and glitches in racing games! This is where you come in: I would like to hear from you about your favorite, most memorable glitches across the various racing games you've played. It can be anything from out of bounds glitches, small but funny bugs, or game-breaking glitches that brick the entire system. Tell me about anything you remember as a reply under this post :)

Hi! I want to address a common topic that came up a few times by now. Some of you were disappointed that my "Girlfriend Plays" videos aren't live gameplays. There are two main reasons for that which I want to quickly talk about:

From the very beginning, my absolute #1 priority with these videos is that my girlfriend is 100% comfortable with making these. I don't want to push her boundaries and exploit her for the sake of content. So initially, my idea was that we do infact stream these games live, but I could tell she wasn't really happy with it at first. Mind you, she is not used to speaking in front of crowds, especially in a non-native language without a script. That's why we settled to record her gameplay without a live audience, as that way it's more relaxing for her and we can speak German together, a language she's more comfortable speaking. That way the videos also feel more authentic, because to us it feels more like we're simply playing games together and less like we're putting on a show.

Secondly, I wanted to shift the style of my content a little this year. Some of you may have already noticed it, but I want to make more narrated, "essay-style" content these days. In short, I want my videos to also be enjoyable when you're not glued to the screen - so whether you're playing games, doing chores or trying to fall asleep, you can still play my videos in the background and fully understand what's going on. Me personally, I have also been watching stream highlight videos less and less, so naturally my interest in making that kind of content as decreased a little.
