Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (RVH), located in Barrie, Ontario provides safe, high quality care for residents across a large geographical region including Simcoe County and the District of Muskoka. The region is home to more than 450,000 residents and in fact, 40 per cent of RVH's patients live outside the City of Barrie. As the largest health centre in Simcoe Muskoka, RVH provides a variety of specialty services not found elsewhere in the region such as the region's only Interventional Radiology suites for minimally invasive surgeries; RIVA -- a robotic arm for the preparation of chemotherapy treatments -- the first of its kind in Canada; the latest and most advanced MRI technology -- to name just a few.
