Retro Active Arcade has sadly decided to stop selling arcade parts, kits and all DIY online support.
We have come to a crossroads where reality is outweighing or passion for the hobby. The current availability of arcade parts from suppliers has diminished to a point where we cannot even purchase basic products for resale. Also, the current economic climate does not allow us to be competitive in the market here in Canada and the time invested has been considerably more than expected for the minimal returns on investments. Overall support has dropped more than 75% this year alone making this a necessary step to move forward.
This was a very hard decision and took many months if not over a year to follow through on. We are sad to let this side of our business go but we need to focus on what works to keep us active.
We have removed all kits and DIY products from our website and will just be selling off our inventory of what we have left individually. We are offering a 5% discount for the week of Canada Day and we will offer an extra 5% each week until our inventory is completely sold out or Sept/12/2025, whichever comes first. (This does not include arcade machines)
Because we will not be providing parts anymore we will also be removing 90% of our video posts on YouTube and social media educating newcomers about the hobby as it would know that this will be confusing. This will include our Arcade School of Building as of October 1st, so if you have a subscription you will need to cancel it before you get into a new moth as these subscriptions are non-refundable.
We will still be offering our amazing arcade machines focusing on new models and innovations to serve the arcade lovers all over North America.
Thank you to all of you that have supported us throughout the years, it was a pleasure to help you with your builds.
