Some of you may have already seen my post on Discord, but this weekend is my birthday party for friends & family (My actual birthday is next weekend).

As such, I won't be streaming the Epic Seven 8th Anniversary Showcase tonight. I will however instead record my live reaction to watching it and upload it super late tonight after I get back from dinner and such with friends/family.

If you want my final thoughts are Arabella, I think she's actually quite good. Is she better than Heidemarie? No. But I do think she is far better than people are giving her credit and I think she lands comfortably in the top 1/3rd to 1/4th of DPS in the game. Kozmic I think nailed it: If this wasn't a Limited, everyone would love her. I think she's super fun and worth the pick up.

One final thing: Her partner Licina feels as close to a "Must Pull" as I can recommend. The damage increase Arabella gains with Licina is gigantic. Her at E0 with the Partner outperforms even E2 by a big chunk. I'd argue that maxing out the Partner gives you far better investment than taking her to E6. Hell, 2 or 3 copies of the partner might be more valuable than Arabella at E6 as well. It's that insane of a partner. Please make sure you don't skip it if you are pulling for her.

Cermia's Private Life #5

Match 1 - First Point Blue
Match 2 - Fast

Match 1 is really easy to understand. Zio hits Tenebria, which procs Hwayoung's Passive. No matter which person gets kicked by Hwa, it will activate Byblis which gives Taeyou his passive and lets him cut for turn 2. He then resets Team 1. At that point, Hecate instant kills whoever got kicked by Hwayoung if they lived. Zio and Notos die instantly to a Hwayoung kick so no matter how you slice it, Blue has first point. It's impossible for this to not be the case.

Match 2, as I said yesterday, is just a giant cluster fuck of RNG. After talking with Tristen, Moriya, and many others, it looks like the odds with the highest chance of success are just to pick a Fast win. Nothing is guaranteed here. You just have to believe Taeyou doesn't get resisted on the Defense break on Ken and/or LQC. There's a lot of situations where Blue team sweeps in 5 turns and a few where it fails and LQC reverse cleaves. The nightmare scenario has Ras vs. Charles for like 10+ turns which is only like a 9% chance. Just pick fast. It's the safest.

Eff the person who made this Match 2 for Cermia's Private Life today. There's so much fucking RNG that there seems to be no guaranteed way to win.

Zio S3's Politis. If he gets resisted at all, then Politis has speed RNG to cut Charles. If she wins the 50/50 and blinds him, they die to Charlotte.

Zio S3's Politis. He then pushes up Taeyou. Taeyou S3's. There is an 80% chance he loses his invincibility. Then he uses S3 to Defense break the enemy team. He has roughly a 2/3rds chance of defense breaking the Martial Artist Ken. If he defense breaks her, the match is guaranteed fast. If he doesn't, he dies if his invincibility gets stripped. This means Ken lives. Charles would then go and S3 and kill Politis, putting him in Stealth. Then Cavel procs and S3s Ken. If LQC is alive, right side dies. If she's dead, we then enter the nightmare scenario described down below.

If Taeyou kills ML Ken with his S1 cause he got the defense buff or he lives cause his invincibilty gets stripped, we move onto LQC. She has roughly a 72% chance of getting defense broken. If she doesn't die to Closer Charles S3 + Cavel S2, she sweeps unless Ken is dead, in which case Cavel kills her and we enter the nightmare scenario.

If LQC didn't get defense broken at all, you enter the nightmare situation. This means Cavel kills LQC and it's a solo GRas versus the right side team. Ras will go on turn 6 at this point and S2 and kill Zio. He will then go for a S3. If Taeyou is invincible, the game drags on for a while. If not, he kills Taeyou and Cavel. Closer Charles is in stealth...and has evasion. You have to hit him through evasion. If you do, he still lives cause Stealth means half damage. Since Closer proc'd his passive this game, his S1 then has Lifesteal so he can buy a ton of time to drag it out to a slow finish.

There's so much RNG that there's no way I can see to guarantee pick a winning side, a first point (Taeyou has a ~78% chance of scoring the first point), if all members survive, or the speed of the game. Right now, best case scenario is like... 75% chance it's fast. That's all I've got.

Hey CZN fam!

After testing Arabella's Partner Licina, it appears that the Active cannot trigger the passive. As such, the partner is only good for Arabella, and no one else. That makes her value a lot lower than I originally though. Insane on Arabella...but not worth picking up for anyone else.

Cermia's Private Life #4

This one is easy if you want the Cermia Sticker. Just choose First Point Blue Team for both.

Match 1 - Gala goes first and one shots Krau. This procs both Sez and Vildred. These 2 follow ups kill Seline. This triggers Eligos to kill ML Ken. Then Sez goes and inflicts Extinction on GRas. If for some reason his AI doesn't S3, Blue team probably still picks up the dub due to Gala passive not letting her die unless he random rolls a 1 in 4 into her. It's a high chance Blue wins this but it isn't guaranteed.

Match 2 - Sea Phantom goes first and uses S3 and strips zero buffs. Since Navy Captain Landy is on Prot Set and gives Crit Resistance, all allies with 1 or more buffs can't be pushed back. BBK and Frida have Immunity set. Straze has Strike of Aspiration to get Immunity. Therefor, Taeyou doesn't cut. Then Frida goes and pushes Straze. Straze S3s and kills ATywin and gets an Extra turn. His S2 strips Gala and kills Taeyou. BBK should go next cause of Frida CR push and then S3 and sweep. It's possible Gala cuts BBK and can somehow solo but you'd have to be insanely lucky at this point. Pretty confident Blue wins.

Simply assign yourself the Chaos Zero Nightmare role and check out "my-czn-builds". From there, you can filter by Attribute & Class as well as use the Search Box if you just want to jump straight to one character. I did a small write up featuring stat breakdowns, Memory Fragment sets, and a few deck codes for each character. I'll be updating this with each release going forward, including Arabella.

If there's a build you feel is missing that's core to a character, DM me with a picture and the deck code and I will add it. If there's anything else you think is necessary, let me know and I'll try to add it. Currently I'm trying to figure out what's the best way to add equipment to each section.

ALMOST FORGOT CAUSE IT'S THE WEEKEND! OH SNAP!

Anyways, playing it safe here.

Match 1 - Red First Point. If R&L def breaks, Boss Arunka dies. Otherwise, Saria picks up a kill on one of the enemy units unless Sharun gets maximum Speed RNG.

Match 2 - Slow finish. No matter which team wins here, no one can possibly win faster than 10 turns. (Straze can't kill anything cause of Diene, who has gives resist and her ER is so high that there's a 0% chance Broman can land).

Hopefully you didn't register yet! Remember, you need to get everything you submit right to get the stamp while on Challenge Mode. You DO NOT have to select the winner, just one of the criteria.

The first match for today is super easy. Since Red team has Astromancer, no one can do anything on Blue team. Assuming Briseria doesn't get 15%, you should easily pick up the team wipe on right side.

The second match is WAY harder. Nahkwol goes first and uses S2 and THEN strips after damage. This means you'll get an S3 that removes Immunity and Barrier from Green Celine, but only if you don't get 15%. The Bind is also cleansed from the S3 cause of Ambitious Tywin. Since you will always deal damage to Celine's barrier before the strip, the Extra turn Seal always goes into Laia 100% of the time. Then Ruiza's artifact pushes up Robin. Robin has Swift Attack now cause of Nahkwol. She will then use S2 into S3 and Bomb and Burn the whole team with Defense break. However, she has no crit and no detonate so everyone should still live on Blue. Now Beehoo goes and presses S3, causing the Unsealed Celine to proc her passive and kill him since she's on highest attack EE for her S2.

Celine then should in theory take the turn and kill something with her S3 if she randomly didn't get reset. It's all a crap shoot I feel from here.

That's why for the second bet, I just bet on Blue first point since there's no world Celine doesn't pick up first kill. That's a guarantee. Which side wins isn't.

So tl;dr:

Blue scores FIRST POINT Match 2
