TheMJQuotes began its life as a restoration channel for all things Michael Jackson in June of 2009, and after seven years of remasters, restorations and vinyl, the channel went on a long hiatus due to personal health issues. Recently the channel has started to reach out to its viewers by adding a more 'personal touch'. So far this has included a more in-depth look into the channel creator's life as well as small live streams here and there.

- I’ve gone from people asking me not to upload vinyl rips to now pretty much only asking for them. I can only assume someone came across my old vinyl list on MJH. Unfortunately, because of family and work commitments, I don’t have the time to rip full albums. However, with the little spare time I do have, I can manage a few single tracks or promos here and there. If you’re one of the people looking for something specific, feel free to leave a comment. That 4K upscale of Black or White is really horrible in places. It's almost like they just ran the master tape through topaz and didn't bother to check the final result or mess with anything. We know they have the master tapes, we also know they have a good few of the original 16 and 35mm reels. After selling out for 800 million, you'd think they'd spend the money to scan them (yes, while £££ as it is) would be so worth it.
