I’m honestly surprised it took me this long to try this one properly, because this is exactly the kind of moisturizer my skin thrives on.

What I notice most with formulas like this isn’t just hydration in the moment, but how my skin behaves throughout the day and over several days. With this, my skin feels calm, balanced, and consistently comfortable. No tightness, no greasy film, no delayed irritation. That’s usually my biggest green flag.

I also really appreciate when a moisturizer supports the skin barrier without feeling heavy or occlusive. This sits beautifully under sunscreen and makeup, but also works just as well at night when my skin needs recovery rather than stimulation. It’s one of those products that quietly does its job, which is honestly underrated.

When a moisturizer works for me, I know fast, but I also pay attention to whether that “good feeling” lasts past the first few uses. After several days, my skin still looks even, healthy, and naturally glowy, which tells me it’s actually supporting my skin rather than just masking dehydration.

This is definitely one of those staples I reach for when my skin needs stability, not excitement and those are usually the products that stay in my routine the longest 🤍

If you’ve tried it too, I’d love to hear how your skin reacted!

Ear seeds 🌱 week 2 update

A little check-in because I’ve been getting quite a few Q's about these 👀
I’m now a couple of weeks into using ear seeds consistently, and I wanted to share how I’m actually feeling about them so far.

First: yes, they do hurt. And I think that’s partly the point. The pressure is very noticeable this time around, which might mean I’ve placed them more accurately on the acupressure points or it might just mean my ears are over it 😅 Either way, they’re definitely not something I can sleep with, so I’ve been listening to my body and removing them when it feels like too much.

As for results: I’m still in the “observing” phase. I haven’t seen a dramatic visual change yet (face shape, puffiness, jaw tension), but I am paying attention to smaller things like neck tension, headaches, and how my face feels throughout the day rather than expecting an instant miracle.

One thing I didn’t expect: the practical struggle 😂
Between hair getting stuck, static electricity, and general discomfort, I’ve started taping over them, not for results, but for sanity. That part alone has made them way more wearable.

I also want to be clear about expectations:
This is very much a slow, nervous-system / tension-related practice, not a quick “snatched overnight” hack. If something does happen, I expect it to be subtle and cumulative rather than obvious after a few days.

Next week will be around the 4-week mark, and that’s when I’ll give my final verdict:
Worth it? Overhyped? Or helpful for very specific people only?

As always, I’ll tell you exactly what I think, even if it’s boring or disappointing 🫶🏼
Stay tuned.

I’ve been getting a LOT of questions about this device, so here’s a bit more context on how I actually use it and why 👀

This isn’t a “do everything at once” tool for me. I treat it like skin training, not skin torture. The reason I always start with booster mode is to prep the skin barrier and help hydration go deeper before anything more intense. Think of it as warming up before a workout, your skin responds better and freaks out less.

The microcurrent mode is where I focus on subtle lift and muscle engagement. Nothing dramatic, just consistency. It works best when the skin is already well-hydrated, which is why I never use it on dry skin or with actives that can compromise the barrier.

As for Derma Shot… yes, it’s spicy 🌶️ and no, I don’t use it everywhere or every time. This is very targeted for me, mainly areas with congestion or visible pores and always on low. I see it more as a maintenance tool rather than something to overdo. More is definitely not more here.

Big rule I stick to: no exfoliating acids, no retinoids, no compromised skin on device days. Hydration, calming ingredients, and listening to my skin > forcing results.

🤓 REEDLE SHOT QUIZ 💉

Why is it important NOT to use higher-strength Reedle Shot on the same days as exfoliating acids or retinoids?

CAROLINE

I’ve been getting a lot of questions about why I decided to level up my Reedle Shot and how I’m actually thinking about using it long-term, so here’s the bigger picture 👇🏼

For me, moving from 100 to 300 isn’t about “more is better,” it’s about skin response. My skin has clearly adapted over time, and I’ve noticed that once that initial tingling phase becomes almost… normal, results plateau unless I adjust frequency or strength thoughtfully. This feels more like progressive skin training than chasing intensity.

That said, stronger doesn’t mean reckless. I’m being way more intentional with spacing, recovery days, and barrier support. The goal is signal, not stress. If the skin isn’t calm the next day, that’s feedback, not something to push through.

One thing I really want to stress: these kinds of treatments only make sense when paired with hydration, soothing ingredients, and patience. I’m intentionally avoiding overlap with actives that already demand a lot from the skin (retinoids, exfoliating acids), because I want collagen stimulation, not inflammation.

I’ll keep sharing how this goes, especially once the “newness” wears off and real patterns start showing. As always, this is just my experience. Curious to hear how your skin reacts to strength upgrades like this 👀✨

Okay, real talk about ear seeds 👀

I’ve been seeing these everywhere lately, especially in wellness + lymphatic drainage circles, so I finally decided to test them myself instead of just side-eyeing from afar. The idea is simple: the ear maps out the whole body, and stimulating specific points over time is meant to support things like tension relief, sleep, headaches, and general nervous system regulation.

What I didn’t expect?
👉🏼 Placement matters WAY more than I thought
👉🏼 “If it hurts, it works” is… not necessarily true
👉🏼 And wow, you actually use a LOT per application

I’m approaching this with a very open but realistic mindset. I don’t expect miracles or instant results. I’m more curious about subtle shifts: less neck tension, better sleep, reduced jaw clenching, or even just feeling more grounded. If anything changes, it’ll probably be cumulative, not dramatic.

That said… the price vs. number of uses definitely has me thinking 🤔
So I’ll keep testing, paying attention to how my body responds, and updating you honestly. placebo or not, comfort and consistency matter.

If you’ve tried ear seeds before (or totally think they’re nonsense), I wanna hear it.
This is very much an experiment in progress 🧠✨

There’s a lot of talk about what really counts as “anti-aging,” and I think hyaluronic acid often gets dismissed too quickly.

While it’s true that HA isn’t stimulating collagen the way retinoids or procedures do, it plays a huge supporting role that people underestimate. Well-hydrated skin reflects light better, looks smoother, and moves more naturally, which instantly makes lines look softer and skin look healthier overall.

For me, HA is one of those ingredients that doesn’t shout, but quietly upgrades everything else in your routine. It helps actives work better, keeps skin comfortable, and gives that fresh, rested look that no filter really replicates. Sometimes the biggest “anti-aging” win is simply skin that’s plump, calm, and well supported.

Curious how you use HA in your routine, or if you’ve written it off completely? 💭
