Ever wondered how to make a naturally glowing carrot-colored herbal soap using fresh plant extracts?

If you love natural skincare and handmade soaps, this is a recipe you should definitely try!

🧴 INGREDIENTS & SUPPLIES
Oils
Palm Kernel Oil — 2 Litres
Shea Butter — 500 g
Lye Mix
Caustic Soda — 450 g
Water — 750–800 ml (for dissolving caustic soda)
Herbal Extract
Fresh Carrots, Cucumber, Ginger & Turmeric Juice — 400–500 ml combined
Fragrance
Perfume — 30–40 ml.

🧪 PROCEDURE

1️⃣ Mix Lye Solution & Melt Oils
Slowly dissolve caustic soda in 750–800 ml water.
Melt shea butter and mix with palm kernel oil.
2️⃣ Combine & Stir to Trace
Pour lye solution into melted oils and stir until thickened slightly.
3️⃣ Add Herbal Extract & Fragrance
Incorporate carrot, cucumber, ginger & turmeric juice (400–500 ml).
Mix in perfume.
4️⃣ Pour into Moulds & Cure
Let soap set 24 hours, then cut.
Cure for 2–3 weeks.

✨ Result:
A rich carrot-colored herbal soap that cleanses, nourishes, and refreshes the skin naturally.

🌿 HOW TO MAKE EXFOLIATING COFFEE SOAP.

Coffee soap helps remove dead skin cells, improves circulation, and leaves the skin smooth and refreshed.

🍉Ingredients

• 500g Palm Kernel Oil
• 300g Coconut Oil
• 200g Palm Oil
• 140g Caustic Soda
• 300ml Water
• 2 Tablespoons Ground Coffee
• Fragrance (optional).

🍉Procedure

1️⃣ Dissolve the caustic soda in water and allow it to cool.
2️⃣ Mix the palm kernel oil, coconut oil, and palm oil together.
3️⃣ When both mixtures are warm (not hot), pour the lye solution into the oils and mix well.
4️⃣ Stir until it thickens (trace stage).
5️⃣ Add the ground coffee and fragrance, then mix well.
6️⃣ Pour into molds and allow to harden for 24 hours before cutting.

🧴 HOW TO MAKE AN EFFECTIVE AND STABLE TOILET WASH.

Toilet wash is a strong cleaning liquid used for removing stains, germs, and bad odor from toilet bowls and tiles. Below is a simple but effective formulation you can produce locally.

INGREDIENTS.

Hydrochloric Acid (HCL) – 1 litre
SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulphate) – 50 g
Soda Ash – 50 g
Sodium Sulphate – 50 g
Caustic Soda – 30 g
Water – 4 litres
Fragrance – 20 ml
Colour – small quantity (optional).

PROCEDURE.

1️⃣ Prepare the solutions
Dissolve the SLS in a small amount of water.
Dissolve Soda Ash separately in water.
Dissolve Sodium Sulphate separately in water.
Dissolve Caustic Soda in water to form lye solution.

⚠️ Allow these solutions to rest for about 3 hours before use.

2️⃣ Mixing Process
Add the Sodium Sulphate solution gradually into the SLS solution while stirring.
Add the Soda Ash solution little by little and keep stirring.
Slowly add the Caustic Soda (lye) solution and stir well.
3️⃣ Add the Acid
Carefully add the Hydrochloric Acid (HCL) while stirring continuously.

⚠️ The mixture will expand and foam slightly. This is normal.

4️⃣ Add Fragrance and Colour
Take a small quantity of the mixture.
Add the fragrance to it and mix properly.
Pour it back into the main mixture and stir well.
Add your preferred colour and mix thoroughly.
5️⃣ Final Step
Cover the container and allow the mixture to settle for some hours.
Your toilet wash is ready for packaging and use.

1.2 – 1.5 Litres Water
30ml Tea Tree Oil (optional but good for eczema)
Procedure:
Dissolve caustic soda in water carefully and allow to cool.
Warm your oils and shea butter together.
When both lye and oils are at similar temperature (warm, not hot), pour lye into oils.
Mix until light trace.
Add neem paste and cassia alata paste.
Add tea tree oil (optional).
Pour into mould and cover for 24–48 hours.
Cut and cure for 4–6 weeks before use.

Strong • Hard • High Foaming • Commercial Size
📝 INGREDIENTS:
20 Litres Palm Stearin
3 kg Caustic Soda
7 Litres Water (for dissolving caustic)
2 kg Soda Ash (dissolved in 5 Litres Water)
2 kg Calcium Carbonate
5 Litres Sodium Silicate
1 Litre Glycerin
Foam booster 1 litre
500 ml Perfume
🧪 PROCEDURE:
⚠️ Wear gloves and protective gear before starting.
Step 1: Prepare Caustic Solution
Slowly add 3 kg caustic soda into 7 litres of water (do NOT pour water into caustic).
Stir well and allow it to cool.
Step 2: Prepare Soda Ash Solution
Dissolve 2 kg soda ash in 5 litres of water.
Stir until fully dissolved and set aside.
Step 3: Heat the Oil
Heat 20 litres palm stearin gently until fully melted.
Step 4: Mixing
Pour the cooled caustic solution gradually into the melted palm stearin while stirring continuously.
Step 5: Add Builders
Add:
Soda ash solution
5 litres sodium silicate
2 kg calcium carbonate
Continue stirring until mixture thickens.
Step 6: Additives
Add:
1 litre glycerin
500 ml perfume
Mix thoroughly.
Step 7: Moulding
Pour into moulds immediately.
Allow to set for 24–48 hours.
Step 8: Cutting & Curing
Cut into bars and allow to cure for 7–14 days before selling.
