The Proposition Lady!
If you're a California voter who feels overwhelmed by the propositions on our election ballot, the Proposition Lady channel is for you! I do a lot of research to decide how to cast my vote, so I thought it might be useful to share what I've learned. I do not take sides, recommend how you should vote, or even tell you how I'm voting. I simply do my best to provide information on what your own vote means.
Think of me like Cliff’s Notes for ballot measures. But with cats. Give it a try!
The Proposition Lady!
I'm so sad to announce the passing of our beloved Geronimo. My wife and I found him in our condo complex in 2010. He was skinny and hungry and skittish. After a week of feeding him, my wife called him over. He ran to her and cuddled her neck. What a love! And so he became part of our family.
Geronimo was mama to all the babies we’ve adopted since then. He helped Buster acclimate to a life of leisure. He helped teach Henri how to behave. And he gave Floyd lots of cuddles when he was missing his first family.
Geronimo was sweet and engaging and very vocal. He lived a long and happy life, and gave us endless love and joy. He will be missed.

I'm sad to announce the passing of our beloved Buster Black. My wife and I started seeing him around our condo complex in 2008. We gave him lots of wet food, but it took over a year for him to trust us. In 2010 we finally brought him inside and adopted him into our clowder. He’s always been skittish, but also very sweet and extremely handsome. He loved stealing mama’s food! He was 17 years old and has been battling kidney damage and a booty tumor. When we could see that he was suffering, we made the difficult decision to say goodbye. He will be missed.

Meet Simon!
Simon is the newest addition to our clowder. My wife fell in love with him in February and brought him home without even telling me! She knows I’ll never object to another kitty. He’s just over a year old now, and still very kitten-ish. He is so cute I sometimes wonder how we even leave the house.

Meet Floyd!
Floyd was born during the pandemic lockdown. He has six siblings, all big cats. Floyd is 18 pounds and handsome as can be. He kneads and drools when he gets pets. He is sweet and sensitive and very kissable. Especially that big white belly!

My election information book is here! Only 142 pages – not too bad for California. And for those of you worried about election security, check out the email I got from our Secretary of State. It shows that my ballot has been mailed. Once we vote, we can also track our ballots to ensure our votes have been counted. Great system. Thanks, Shirley Weber!
