On La Palma, trade winds drive clouds against the mountains, condensing humidity in the northern and northeastern midlands. Drier, warmer high-altitude winds trap the clouds below, creating a sea of clouds visible above 1,800 meters. On the western slope, lucky visitors may witness a "cloud waterfall," where clouds spill over the mountains like a cascade, sometimes accompanied by a rainbow. This phenomenon, unique to La Palma, underscores the island’s enchanting wilderness and makes it a must-see natural wonder. Walking through the caldera, this breathtaking spectacle of nature’s raw beauty leaves a lasting impression, embodying La Palma's untamed charm and magic.
