We are pleased to announce that our Electric Insert Driver, "DTD500", has received the GOOD DESIGN AWARD 2024.

Replacements of cutting inserts are commonly done using manual screwdrivers. Milling cutters often have a lot of cutting inserts, and the replacement work requires a long time and burdens the operators. Furthermore, each cutting insert has a recommended torque setting. However, when using manual screwdrivers, the applied torque often depends on the operator's intuition and experience, which can lead to machining defects and shortening of the lifetime of cutting inserts.

Electric insert driver DTD500 provides the solutions and contributes to improving customer productivity.

Our headquarters office is located in a suburban city called Fukuyama, in Hiroshima Prefecture of Japan.
Kyocera's power tools were seen in the hands of craftsmen who supported events related to Fukuyama Castle, celebrating its 400th anniversary in 2022.
Craftsmen who were in charge of improving the north side of Fukuyama Castle, the symbol of Fukuyama City, used Kyocera's professional power tools.
