Because I felt like it, I chose to dye my hair pink (the box said "Sakura Pink", which is Cherry Blossom Pink). And it looks 100% 24-karat AWESOME, if I say so myself.
The next shade I plan to try out is "Midnight Ruby ", so stay tuned for that.

Today I join the world in mourning the passing of the Holy Father, Pope Francis, who has departed this life for the next on this day at the age of eighty-eight. Words are powerless to express how I feel right now.
Holy Father, know that you will be missed beyond the measure of words by myself and so many others. In these dark times you were a beacon of hope and strength, you were Father to us all. Though we cry for you know that so many of us were blessed by you and you will NEVER be forgotten.

It's with a heavy heart that I tell you all that my little brother's cat, Barda - the star of the video, "Pretty Little Kitten (Barda the Pumpkaboo)" - has been diagnosed with cancer, my brother called us night before last to give us the news. Because the operation to remove the tumor costs $5,000 (are these veterinary services kidding me?!), my brother and his fiancee have made the decision to have our little Pumpkaboo put to sleep tomorrow.
Because of this I have decided to take a break from uploading videos for a bit while I and my brother and soon to be sister-in-law grieve this terrible loss. I thank you all for your understanding.

Two days after my Integra's passing, the little black and white kitten who my dad and I think was abandoned returned to our front door and has made it clear that he's sticking around. I officially named him Black Jack (after Osamu Tezuka's famous doctor Black Jack), and I truly believe he was sent to help me with my grief. Already his presence has been a great comfort to me and I hope I get to make lots of videos of him!

It's with a very heavy heart that I announce that my potbelly pig and Emotional Support Animal, Integra, had passed away today shortly before one o'clock in the afternoon. She had been in declining health ever since the passing of her sister, Kilala, last year and now she has gone to join Kilala and her chicken friends Izzie, Cossette, Mey-Rin, Okiku, and Motoko in the afterlife.
A little backstory: ever since I had seen the movie CHARLOTTE'S WEB when I was a child, I wanted to have a pet pig. In 2012 I got my wish, adopting a potbelly piglet from my older brother, who raised potbelly pigs. I named her Integra after Sir Integra Hellsing, the female leader of the Hellsing Organization in the manga/anime series HELLSING, and on the anniversary of D-Day in 2013 she officially became my Emotional Support Animal. And for twelve years my piggy never not once let me down in helping me with my chronic pain, depression, and anxiety. She went above and beyond the call of duty in that regard.
Integra - I just know that your sister and all of your friends are greeting you at the gate and that you're going to be spoiled silly until I get to the Other Side. You were (to quote CHARLOTTE'S WEB) SOME PIG. I miss you now and will miss you very much.

Today is Christmas (merry Christmas to everyone). Today is also Rod Serling's 100th birthday (for those of you would might not know what I'm talking about, he created the groundbreaking and totally awesome TV show THE TWILIGHT ZONE). If you haven't seen it, what are you waiting for - it's streaming for free on Pluto TV (it's legit, I checked), so do yourself the greatest favor to yourself and watch it!
Happy birthday, Mr. Serling...we miss you. The world is colder and darker without you.

Two little kittens showed up at our front door this morning, a orange and white tabby and a little tuxedo kitten. They were clearly abandoned and have had run-ins with hateful people... but my dad and I are committed to helping them!

In light of what happened on Election Day, I feel compelled to remind you all of one simple thing. I don't think I can say it without getting into trouble, so I'm going to step aside and let the great Rod Serling say it for me. I know a lot of you are scared - I am, too - but this gives me a boatload of hope.
As long as we have THE TWILIGHT ZONE, we'll be OK.

It's the first of October, so Pumpkin Spice Season has officially begun! I celebrated a wee bit early with this simply divine venti sized Pumpkin Spice frappucino and Pumpkin Spice Cream Cheese muffin from Starbucks on the last Saturday of September.
