YouTube Community Post

Would removing the Reserved List actually crash Magic prices?

A tweet from Brian Coval sparked a great discussion on the show.

Take Meddling Mage:

You can buy one version for $14…
Or play the exact same card for $0.80.

Same gameplay.
Different collectability.

Premodern shows a model where:

• collectors keep valuable versions
• players get cheap versions
• the format stays accessible

So the question is:

If Wizards abolished the Reserved List tomorrow…

Would it actually destroy card prices?

Or would the originals just become collector items?

What should happen to cheaters in Magic?

Every time a cheating scandal pops up, the community calls for lifetime bans.

But is that actually enough?

In our latest episode we talked about a controversial idea:

What if caught cheaters had to repay every opponent they beat before they could even be considered for returning to the game?

Or is the truth that once someone cheats at a high level… there’s no path back at all?

Curious where people land on this.

Should cheaters ever be allowed back into Magic?

🎯 Looking Back, Looking Forward 🎯

In this episode, we did something we don’t usually do in public:
we pulled up last year’s resolutions and actually held ourselves accountable.

Some goals we crushed.
Some we half-completed.
Some… life very clearly got in the way.

We talk about:

How daily content quietly became the priority

Why some competitive goals didn’t happen

Building eternaldurdles.com from nothing into a real hub

Traveling to Eternal Weekends (including Europe 🇪🇺)

What changed for us personally in 2025

And what we’re aiming for in 2026 — content, travel, health, and growth

This episode is less about results and more about process: how priorities shift, how goals evolve, and how you keep building even when plans don’t go perfectly.

If you’ve ever looked back at a list of goals and thought
“wow… a lot happened this year” — this one will probably hit home.

👉 What’s one goal you set last year that surprised you — either because you hit it or because life changed it?

Thanks for being part of this ride. Onward to 2026. 🖤
