Edith Mathias was a Swiss soprano renowned for her exceptional interpretations of Mozart’s works. With a voice both luminous and expressive, she performed roles such as Pamina in The Magic Flute and Donna Anna in Don Giovanni with profound nuance. Beyond opera, Mathias was a celebrated interpreter of sacred and symphonic music, regularly performing works by Bach and Handel. He is celebrated for his incomparable refinement and his intense playing. Maurizio Pollini has died on Saturday morning in Milan. He was 82.

Rest in Peace, Seiji Ozawa (September 1st, 1935 - February 6th, 2024)
With great sadness, we learned of the passing of acclaimed Japanese conductor Seiji Ozawa. After studying under Herbert von Karajan and Leonard Bernstein, Ozawa began his career as a conductor in the 1960s and gained international recognition, working with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the San Francisco Symphony as well as with the Orchestre National de France and the Teatro alla Scala. He eventually became known as the principal conductor and director of the Vienna State Opera.
