You Are the Salt of the Earth

Today’s word is all about living a life of impact!

The Word himself, Jesus said, 🗣️ You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men Matthew 5:13

Salt has value, it preserves, it enhances, it changes things. Believers are called to preserve godly values, influence others for good, and add “flavor” to life by living righteously and sharing God’s love. You’re here to bring life, truth, and hope to the world around you. How are you adding flavor to the lives of others? Are your words uplifting? Are your actions inspiring change?

🚶🏾‍♀️Be intentional this week about being ‘salty.’ Salt that has lost its purpose or effectiveness becomes useless. Similarly, if Christians compromise their faith, lose their commitment to God, or fail to live out their purpose, their influence in the world diminishes. Speak words that preserve hope, show kindness that enhances someone’s day, and stay connected to Christ, the Source of your influence. Keep shining and keep adding flavor!

🌿 Shalom Saturday 🌿

📖 Psalm 125:2 As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about his people from henceforth even for ever.

Imagine the mountains standing tall, strong, and immovable around Jerusalem. They provide security, stability, and a sense of protection that cannot be shaken. This is how God surrounds us, constantly, faithfully, and eternally.

On this Shalom Saturday, rest in the assurance that God is your shield and fortress. His presence is not temporary or conditional; it is unwavering and surrounds you like an unbreakable wall of love, grace, and peace. Whatever may come, know that you are enveloped in His care.

Today, let His peace rule your heart. Reflect on the strength of His promises and the certainty of His presence. No matter what situations may arise, you can rest in the truth that God surrounds you, guarding your life with His divine power.

Prayer: Father, thank you for surrounding me with your peace and protection. Help me to trust in your presence and to walk confidently, knowing you are with me forever. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Take time today to breathe, reflect, and embrace His shalom!

✨ Focus Friday ✨

📖 Psalm 119:2 AMP Blessed and favored by God are those who keep His testimonies, And who [consistently] seek Him and long for Him with all their heart.

That word blessed in the original language, Hebrew, means Happy. So if we want to be happy then we need to keep the testimonies of God. One of the definitions of testimonies which can be applied here is, a formal written or spoken statement. God’s word is His testimonies.

True happiness and favor only comes by setting all of our affections towards God. If we try to achieve happiness any other way we will find ourselves doing things that God didn’t create us to do. Feeling ways God didn’t purpose for us to feel and living a life that is bound to our vices.

Today we encourage you to focus your minds, emotions, intellect, and spirit on the word of God with consistency and seek Him diligently. Do this as long as it is “Today” and as you do this couple it with being obedient to the word of God and leading of His Spirit.

Let's transform 🦋

Transform your life by choosing to make decisions that are morally and scripturally right.

📖 2 Timothy 2:19 AMP  Nevertheless, the firm foundation of God [which He has laid] stands [sure and unshaken despite attacks], bearing this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of the Lord stand apart from wickedness and withdraw from wrongdoing.”

We are called to be children of light {1 Thessalonians 5:5 and Ephesians 5:8} That means the way we live our life and how we view and treat people should be from the dimension of light, not darkness.

We can’t claim to bear the name of Christ, yet live a life that is in complete opposition to the teachings of Christ. That also goes for our character, and the identity we subscribe to. If ANYTHING concerning us is in direct opposition to what God has stated in His word, we MUST be willing to withdraw from it as stated in the scripture above if we truly are His.

We must be willing to stand apart from ALL wickedness AND wrongdoing. Which means we may have to walk away from certain people who desires to live a life that is in direct opposition to the word of God.

As we take those steps to remove ourselves from wickedness and wrongdoings, transformation happens. Doors that were open that caused destruction in your life and bloodline will be shut. And God will open doors that will cause peace, joy, prosperity, health, wealth and life to flow not just in your life but in your bloodline.

So take the step today to remove yourself from everything or everyone who is in opposition to the word of God. Not out of fear or from a place of fear, but from a place of love and honor to God.

🔑 Relationships are pivotal and important to your spiritual growth and success. The people you consistently engage with either push you closer to God or pull you away from Him. Surrounding yourself with wise, godly people can sharpen your character and lead you to make better decisions.

🛠 Application for your life:

1️⃣ Evaluate your inner circle. Are your closest friends encouraging you to grow spiritually, emotionally, and mentally?

2️⃣ Be intentional about cultivating relationships with mentors, godly friends, and those who inspire you.

3️⃣ If necessary, distance yourself from negative influences with love and grace.

👀 Focus on God Alone: Lay aside distractions and let your worship center on who He is—His goodness, faithfulness, and sovereignty.

📖 Let Scripture Guide You: Use God’s Word as a foundation for your worship. Reflect on His promises and character as you praise Him.

🙌🏾Surrender Fully: Worship requires surrender. Release your burdens, worries, and plans into God’s hands, trusting Him completely.

When you worship with a pure heart, you experience the transformative power of God’s presence. Worship Him today in Spirit and truth, giving Him the glory He deserves!

Don’t reject wisdom

💡 Have you ever felt stuck, like you’ve hit a wall? Have you ever felt like what you desired to do, or have done, could not be done?

🗣️Jesus tells us that what’s impossible for us is completely possible with God. Think about something in your life that feels too hard to overcome. Now, remind yourself: God specializes in the impossible.

This week, take a bold step of faith. Write down one seemingly ‘impossible’ thing you’re believing for, and pray over it daily. Trust God to make a way.
