But I also want to take a moment for those of us for whom today feels tender.
For the mothers who have lost children—your love is forever.
For those who are longing, grieving, remembering.
And for those, like me, navigating motherhood without their own mum by their side—you’re not alone. It’s been three years since I lost mine, and the ache still comes in waves.
Today isn’t simple. But it’s real. And it’s full of love.
