Hey guys announcement for the channel. I’m going to be taking a bit of a sabbatical. Planning on taking a break from YouTube for about 6-8 months. I’ve noticed that the algorithmic leaning of a platform like this has really stymied my inspiration and shifted my will in a way that I’m not really fond of. I think this period will allow me to re-center to God my source of inspiration rather than likes or views or building a “brand.” I’ll still be creating content in that time but just not posting it until I come back so that I can focus on putting out what I authentically like rather than being worried about retention, clicks, and all that jazz. Overall, I think this will be best for my soul, you (way better and more original content), and just life in general.
In the mean time, I’ll be going back to writing on Substack so that I still have some sort of outlet, but on that isn’t so determined by algorithm. If you’d like to follow me there to keep up, I’ll add the link. Love you all and hope to see you here still in a few months!
