Join me on Saturday, August 1st, 2026 at 3:00PM EST / 12PM PST / 8:00PM GMT for Ink Wars: Battle of the Black Inks. In this YouTube Premier Video, I will compare 6 popular black ink pads (Altenew Fresh Dye Ink, Simon Hurley Stellar Ink, Gina K. Designs Premium Dye Ink, Scrapbook.com Premium Dye Ink, Picket Fence Studio Black Hybrid Ink Pad and Concord & 9th Premium Hybrid Ink).

I will be hand stamping these on video with both photopolymer and red rubber stamps. I have a selection of images and sentiments (both thick and fine lined) for a full test. I will also marker test them with: Altenew Artist Markers (alcohol), Archer & Olive Calliograph (dye), Cricut Gel Pen and Scrapbook.com Shimmer Brush Marker. While I will not be using a stamp positioner on the video, I will summarize which ink pads I prefer to use with a stamp positioner and why at the end.
