Jon and I are going back into business together and are opening an upscale concept later this summer. I’ll share more on this in a future post.
2. Complete a 100 Mile Ultramarathon
If you’ve been following me, you know I started running ultramarathons last year. I’ve never made it 100 miles. Last July, after making it 80 miles in 26 hours (absolutely brutal), I quit. 100 miles will get crossed off the list this year.
*Bonus points if I do it at 190lbs. A little bulk + ultramarathon training seems like a good combo…
3. Travel for the Podcast Last year I started traveling for the @real.conversations podcast. I traveled for @toddanderson42_ , @peternelsonii, and a few others. I really enjoyed getting to explore new cities and I think it created a stronger bond with the guest since we typically did an ice bath or sauna together before recording. I’m looking to do more of this in 2024.
4. Run a sub 3:30 Marathon I ran my first [official] marathon last year in 4:02. The goal is always progress, so next up is 3:30.
5. Build in Public Documenting the journey is uncomfortable, but I know getting outside of my comfort zone will force growth. [Reference my last post for more on building in public]
I have a few more goals for 2024, but I’m keeping those personal for now. It’s going to take a lot of work to pull all of these off, but I’m excited for who I’ll become in the process and I think it will be worth it in the long run.

Back in Wichita 🛠️
Over the next few months, the space behind me will become a 3500 sqft full-service restaurant. It's go time.

- PS. I’m laughing in this picture because my podcast guest told me his goal was to end up with $50M in Real Estate holdings and he’s at ~$700M now. Wild. - #2024goals #entrepreneurship #100miler #podcast #dohardthings
