VeganLinked is dedicated to helping accelerate the vegan movement through education and truth in media. The content I create is an exploration into the vegan experience. Normalizing veganism is essential for progress and achieved through the voices of everyday people, scientists, doctors, activists, diversity, influencers, and the most significant anecdotes that are also corroborated by the totality of scientific evidence.

VeganLinked is also a growing website directory; veganlinked.com.

These videos are brought to you by Jeff of VeganLinked. If you like my work and want to help me keep the cameras rolling please consider contributing here: veganlinked.com/fundme/

If you saw the Ken Berry video with the "former vegan cardiologist," I went through it claim by claim on the site. Every point below is a linked study you can open yourself.

Here's what the research actually says.

The endurance paper the video leans on found that carbohydrate during a race improved performance in the low-carb-adapted athletes too. It's about race fueling, not what's on your plate.

Vegans had 0.38 the odds of type 2 diabetes after adjusting for body weight, in near-perfect steps from omnivore down to vegan. Trials that measured insulin sensitivity directly found plant-based diets improve it.

A 2026 trial gave 2 grams of algal DHA for two years, proved it reached the brain, and found no difference in cognition or brain structure. Six earlier trials found the same nothing. And beef contains essentially no DHA anyway.

Dogs carry roughly seven times the amylase gene copies wolves do. Starch digestion is one of the genetic signatures of domestication. Canine pancreatitis is triggered by high-fat meals and treated with a low-fat diet.

Obese adults on a whole-food plant-based diet lost about 12 kg at 12 months with no calorie counting.

LDL causality rests on 200+ studies, over 2 million people, Mendelian randomization, and three unrelated drug classes. The keto study used to argue high LDL doesn't build plaque was retracted in May.

DiRECT achieved 46% diabetes remission on a diet that was 59% carbohydrate. Reversal comes from energy deficit, not carb removal.

The entire published outcome literature on carnivore eating is one online survey. No controls, no bloodwork, no disease endpoints.

Zero hard outcomes appear in the video. Meanwhile it concedes on tape that patients lost weight and had chest pain improve.

We're told eating animals is natural, healthy, even virtuous. The carnivore influencers say to pile your plate with liver, cook everything in tallow, gnaw the marrow like our ancestors did. What they don't tell you is what's actually concentrated in those exact parts — or what it cost to put them there.

Start with what's true and inconvenient: the heaviest pesticide load in our entire food system isn't on produce. It's on the corn, soy, alfalfa, and hay grown to feed livestock. This is federal law, not opinion — the EPA allows up to 4,000 times more glyphosate on animal feed crops than on the vegetables we eat (40 CFR § 180.364). Feed gets sprayed the hardest because the whole plant is drenched, drying concentrates it, and nobody rinses a bale of hay.

Then the animal eats it. Constantly. For its whole life.

The residue mostly stays out of muscle meat — but it doesn't vanish. It collects in the liver, the kidneys, the fat. The persistent poisons, the banned ones that never break down, build up in animal fat over years. The World Health Organization says more than 90% of human dioxin exposure comes through food, overwhelmingly from animal fat and dairy. So the "superfoods" of the carnivore movement are, chemically speaking, the collection points. They're telling people to eat the filter.

And every bite carries a body count that has nothing to do with chemistry. An animal who didn't want to die. Add to that the field animals killed growing the feed — several pounds of it for every pound of flesh — and the math turns on its head. Eating plants directly is the option that kills the fewest, sprays the least, and spares the most. When someone says "but crop farming harms animals too," remember the animals ate those crops first, by the truckload, and then were killed on top of it.

There's a gentler truth underneath all of this. You don't need any of it. Every nutrient in liver is available from plants and fortified foods, without the suffering and without the contaminant load. You can cook, and thrive, and feed your family, without a body having to be raised, sprayed, and slaughtered for it.

The healthiest, kindest, cleanest place to eat is the same place: lower down, closer to the plants. The animals never needed to be on the plate. We were just never encouraged to ask.

Vegetarian since birth, vegan since 2015! No meat, no problem! Actually, no meat, way less problems! Be sure to give my friend ‪@ForestNashFitness‬ a follow. He's doing great things to legitimately help people realize their potential to live contiguous with their moral foundations and/or optimizing their health goals.

What if the real problem isn't climate change, hunger, poor health, or biodiversity loss...

What if the problem is the system itself?

In this two-part series, Dr. Sailesh Rao explores a provocative idea:

Planet B — a complete redesign of human systems around planetary health, universal food access, nonviolence, ecological restoration, and a vegan future.

Part 1 explores why our current systems continue to create the very crises they claim to solve.

Part 2 explores what could replace them.

Whether you agree with every conclusion or not, the concept of creating a "Planet B" is one of the most thought-provoking frameworks I've encountered.

📺 Part 1: https://youtu.be/3yzZQykAcFY

📺 Part 2: https://youtu.be/YiI0zmY0ZHI

After watching both, I'm curious:
What would need to change for humanity to truly create a Planet B?

One question I've been thinking about:

Is it better to move somewhere with more like-minded people, or stay where you are and help create the change you want to see?

I'd love to hear your thoughts.

How many times have you been forced onto the defensive by a meat-eater spinning the wheel of excuses with thought-terminating clichés like "Plants have feelings" or “Supplements tho...” or nitpicking the scientific methodology (despite evidence supporting a vegan way of eating across the entire hierarchy of nutritional science year after year, decade after decade)?

It’s time to flip the script. The debate has fundamentally changed.

The world's absolute largest, most prestigious health organizations—the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society, the American Diabetes Association, and the National Academy of Sciences—all agree: A well-planned vegan diet is fully adequate for every stage of life and actively reduces the risk of chronic diseases.

What does that mean? It means meat is a choice, not a necessity.
And because it is a non-essential choice, the burden of proof is entirely on those eating animals.

Vegans don't need to justify their health anymore. Mainstream medical science has already done that for us. If someone chooses to eat meat, they must provide the scientific justification for participating in an elective lifestyle that supports:
❌ The most violent, psychologically damaging jobs on earth.
❌ Atrocious, institutionalized living conditions for sentient animals.
❌ A gravely destructive industry causing deforestation, aquatic dead zones, species extinction, toxic anaerobic lagoons, antibiotic resistance, deadly pathogens, and zoonotic diseases.

If human metabolic flexibility allows us to thrive on plants, what is the clinical justification for choosing violence and destruction?

THE MISSING SPOUSE REALITY CHECK!
Carnivore, Keto, etc... Curious, why is it that your significant others hide from ya'll? I just thought about this while editing a these vegan couples.

I follow various types of influencers, across the spectrum really. I noticed Shawn Baker, Berry, Chaffee, Saladino, Kay, etc... (it's such a small carnival of... ). They have significant others, at least most of them claim to... yet, why don't they come out and share the same enthusiasm?

It makes me think about how many vegans I know that are doctors, dietitians, nutritionists, athletes, very long time, lifelong, multi-generational, etc... I bet I personally know and have even interviewed more relevant health professionals alone than their are carnivore health professionals out there. So telling...

But this is additionally telling. Ya'll animal eating anti-carb influencers don't evidence any support from your family... could it be because they don't like the way you smell? Vegans do smell better... Could it be because you aren't good lovers? Vegans do have better sex and seem to have bigger families. Could it be that you're a fraud and they want no part of it?

Makes me think of when Baker forget to hide his bananas. When he was called out on them being in the background of one of his videos (Carnism is Cancer on YouTube caught this) Baker eventually said they weren't his...

Meanwhile, I can think of endless examples where the entire family are vegan and healthy and explicitly doing it together. In fact, last year I released an entire yearlong weekly series on the topic of Raising Children Vegan on my channel YouTube.com/VeganLinked with a different family doing this every week. And there are so many more that I'll be continuing to release interviews and talks by relevant to this. For example, the talks I'm editing right now, both of these couples are raising their children vegan from conception. And their children are beautiful, healthy, and thriving just like their parents.

Observations like this are so telling. It's one thing that the science is overwhelmingly, consistently/repeatedly across the entire hierarchy of nutritional science, year after year, decade after decade, essentially entirely in support of a vegan way of eating. It's another thing that we have the most significant anecdotes (e.g. longest and most impressive n of 1's corroborating the evidence that this reduces chronic disease risk). It's another when so many health professionals embrace this way (the countless under Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, American College of Lifestyle Medicine, The Plantrician Project, etc...). It's another telling thing when so many couples do it together (Ornishes, Esselstyns, Hubermans, The Brain Docs, Married to Health, Fuhrmans, Campbells, on and on and on and on...). And it's ultimately another when they raise their children this way, which quintessentially puts the last nail in the carni coffin for the low to no carb movements.

The more I have immersed myself in this over the many years I've been wholeheartedly doing VeganLinked the more inescapable it becomes that a vegan way being is best in every way for every being. Eventually this will be inescapable to everyone. It only isn't right now because most people haven't been reached yet much less taken the time to genuinely look. And at this point in time severely corrupt influencers have free reign to completely lie and spread misinformation with unfettered access to vulnerable people, many of which don't take the time to dig into the facts and just want good news about bad habits.

Eventually though there will be more people who care about their health and their family. And they will also not want to have a bloody footprint mindlessly supporting the most violent jobs and gravely invasive industry on the planet. Eventually we will reach critical mass and the majority will actualize their true desire to live contiguous with their morals. And veganism wont just be a trend that is 17 times more popular than these low carb death based elimination fad diets. Veganism will become the norm. And consuming body parts, organs and secretions will no longer be acceptable in developed countries.

Seeking a Vegan Creator for the "VeganLinked" Hub in Asheville! 🏔️🌱

Hey everyone! I have a very unique "Live/Work" opportunity at my property in South Asheville, NC, and I wanted to share it with this community.

The Backstory:
I originally bought this house in 2020 to build a dedicated production base for filming content with Dr. Garth Davis. While the house has been a successful rental since he relocated, I’ve always dreamed of it becoming a true creative center for the vegan movement.

The Space:
✅ Private 2BR/1BA House: 850 sq ft with a strictly meat-free kitchen environment preferred.

✅ 600 sq ft Basement: Climate-controlled, drive-up access—perfect for gear storage, shipping, or a workshop.

✅ 390 sq ft Studio: A separate, finished accessory building with pro electrical—ready for video production, podcasting, or a home business.

✅ High Visibility: Located on a busy road just 5 parcels outside city limits (Buncombe County), offering lower taxes and great signage potential.

The Opportunity:
If you are a creator or entrepreneur, I’m excited to potentially collaborate with you and promote your work right here on the VeganLinked channel (95k+ subs)!

Pricing & Flexibility:
House + Basement: $2,050/mo
The Full Compound: $2,600/mo

Negotiable for the right mission-fit: I am primarily looking for the right person to carry on the vision for this space. If you have a project or business that aligns with our mission, let’s talk! I can be reached through the Zillow listing via the link in the pinned comment.

If this sounds like your dream setup—or you know a fellow vegan who belongs in Asheville—please share this.

Buying this property was a huge risk in 2020. I could not afford to buy a house just to do a project with Garth. So I had to rent it out and create a studio separate from the house.

Renting out the house has helped me make ends meet while I've been producing content for the channel. I hope to figure out a way to take things to the next level with this property so I may continue using it as a way to enable me doing this work full throttle. And it would be so awesome to have a like-minded individual who I can also help and maybe two minds can make a third somehow.
