Hi there and welcome to my channel!
I do train video content and sometimes car shows I’m a Sierra Northern former in Fillmore CA I went to the railroad in 2015 when it was still Fillmore and Western, Sierra Northern sold some of the old locomotives and equipment and they get cargo form Oxnard CA but the F&W 14 steam locomotive is at the loose caboose near Santa Paula CA but last year near Fillmore they had a washed out RR bridge so the 14 has not been moved since.

Today’s Amtrak Southwest Chef A3 has 4 P42s and a Heritage Fleet car along with a Amfleet car!
Pretty unique and unusual for these days of Amtrak.

September 26th the VCRR is going past Hueneme Road and is going to use the Shortline track into the Port with the caboose 100
This only happens once a year!

An Update on the Former VCRR Track.
A Milepost for the Railroad has been put into the ground and probably the RR crossings will be fixed and be repaired soon but in the meantime we have to wait and see what the Railroad has to do next with the track.

SoCal Train Simulator got updated Again on 7-7-25 and they added Phase 7 P42s! in the Southwest Commander list And I think they will add Phase 6 and 7 ALC-42s.
