I am a Recruiting and Retention NCO for the Washington Army National Guard!
I will be VERY honest with you. If I do not think the Guard is what is best for you, I will tell you; though the majority of the time, the Army National Guard IS the right place.
Between the Army National Guard and Reserves, I have been in Transportation, Infantry, Communications, Aviation, and Intelligence (linguistics). For full-time positions, I have worked in Counterdrug, Marketing, Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention, 3 IT positions, and now Recruiting.
For my education, I am an Aerospace Engineer. Yes, I'm literally a Rocket Scientist. I do this job for many reasons, but the top two are the amazing benefits and perks, and because I believe so strongly in the missions of the National Guard.
I am a husband, and father to three wonderful children. :)

Welcome to the 2025 school year! The Washington National Guard is out with UW Army ROTC and Army recruiting for Dawg Daze to show what we have to offer! Come climb the rock wall Thursday and learn about ROTC, the Simultaneous Membership Program where you serve in the National Guard and do ROTC, and have fun!
We also have an ROTC Open House Friday at 1pm at Clark Hall!

Yesterday was a great day for me! I was promoted to Sergeant First Class (E7)! I was pinned by my sons! (Yes, I am jealous of their long hair) Thank you to all of my wonderful family, friends, and coworkers who helped and challenged me through everything!

Happy Father’s Day! My last year has been quite interesting! I hope you all have crazy adventures with your kids, and a wife with as amazing of a sense of humor as mine! (We could go to the pool at the other Disney hotel, lol!)
