* Giyu once discovered an unbelievably quiet room and stayed there so long that hearing his own body became uncomfortable.
* He prefers lying down, sleeping, and avoiding unnecessary thinking whenever possible.
* His clothes mysteriously became dirty, except for his pants, leaving him with only a white shirt until Aoi cleaned everything.
* He later discovered that his tooth felt strange because it was cracked, leading to the eventual realization that he needed a modern dentist.
* Giyu’s dreams can actually be beautiful and peaceful too—one was nothing but an enormous cherry-blossom paradise, where he even met a mysterious secret lover.
* Unfortunately, his lover slapped him awake and said, “Wake up, Tomioka-san.” 😭

🐈 Minion the Cat

* Minion accidentally caused the time skipper to malfunction.
* Instead of stopping at some reasonable point, it sent everyone all the way to 2026.
* Minion later proved it had absolutely no interest in pressing the time skipper again.
* It also seems to understand Giyu’s mysterious “gub” language.
* Most importantly, Minion is apparently the most responsible creature in the entire story.

⏳ The Great Time Skip

* The Hashiras realized they had somehow skipped forward in time.
* Amazingly, their ages stayed the same.
* Their original clothes came with them too—they simply forgot about them until much later.
* They discovered modern technology, fashion, food, stores, gyms, and all sorts of things they’d never seen before.
* Giyu described 2026 as “like a dream I have never seen.”
* The author briefly appeared, looked at the chaos caused by their OCs, and basically went:
“What is going on with my OCs?”
* Then the author disappeared without explanation and left everyone to deal with it themselves. 💀

💰 The Secret Millionaires

* The Hashiras eventually discovered they were millionaires.
* Then they discovered their master had secretly arranged their wealth for them the entire time.
* Tengen somehow turned out to be even richer than the other Hashiras.
* He didn’t even realize how rich he was because apparently checking his bank account wasn’t a priority.
* His first instinct after discovering his wealth was to make everything more flashy.
* Sanemi correctly summarized the situation as Tengen being “half stupid.”

🏠 The Homeless Millionaires

There was one tiny problem:

They didn’t have a house.

So the millionaires bought a huge modern mansion.

It has:

* Multiple bedrooms
* A giant kitchen
* A garden
* A swimming pool
* A gym
* Plenty of space for everyone’s increasingly questionable hobbies

And somehow, despite owning a mansion, the Hashiras still nearly caused another disaster with the time skipper.

🏊 Giyu vs. Swimming

* The mansion has a swimming pool.
* Everyone was excited about it.
* Giyu doesn’t know how to swim.
* He didn’t care.
* He simply slept instead.
* When he finally woke up and remembered he couldn’t swim, his response was basically:
“That’s fine. I wasn’t planning on swimming anyway.”

👜 Mitsuri Discovers Modern Shopping

* Mitsuri discovered modern handbags.
* She immediately wanted basically all of them.
* After remembering she was a millionaire, she decided buying bags was perfectly reasonable.
* She then came up with the idea of creating an entire bag room in the mansion.
* Tengen supported this idea because, naturally, he considers an enormous bag room appropriately flashy.

🎨 Kanao and Kanae

* Kanao and Kanae discovered a store called “Library Store.”
* They went inside expecting books.
* Instead, they discovered a massive selection of art supplies.
* Kanao became fascinated by all the new colors, sketchbooks, pens, paints, and even digital drawing tablets.
* She brought her supplies home and began thinking about what to draw.
* Eventually, she decided to draw everyone’s 2026 adventures as a memory.

🎤 Mitsuri’s Celebrity Dream

* Mitsuri dreamed about her favorite celebrities.
* We decided one of her favorites could be Japanese singer Ado.
* Her dream basically turned into the ultimate celebrity meet-and-greet.
* Meanwhile, everyone else was sleeping peacefully and had absolutely no idea.

☁️ Giyu and Todoroki

* Giyu had a long dream filled with nothing but clouds.
* He discovered Shoto Todoroki was there too.
* Todoroki explained that he was dreaming too.
* The two basically spent ages sitting around on clouds and enjoying the peace.
* Eventually Todoroki had to wake up.
* He said goodbye to Giyu.
* Giyu was genuinely a little sad to see him go.
* Then Giyu woke up beside Minion and immediately wanted to go back to sleep.

🌸 Giyu’s Cherry-Blossom Dream

Another dream was completely different.

Giyu found himself beneath endless cherry blossom trees.

No chaos.

No shouting.

No modern technology.

No Sanemi.

Just pink petals, a gentle breeze, and Minion beside him.

He even met his mysterious secret lover there before being slapped awake.

🌿 Muichiro’s Morning

* While everyone else was sleeping, Muichiro didn’t care about sleeping.
* He went outside instead.
* He explored the mansion’s garden, watched birds and butterflies, looked at a pond, and admired the morning scenery.
* For once, he wasn’t lost in abstract thoughts.
* He was simply appreciating nature.

🎵 The Mysterious Peaceful Music

* At one point, peaceful music randomly began playing throughout the mansion.
* Nobody knew where it came from.
* Everyone simply accepted it.
* The same mysterious peaceful atmosphere eventually appeared around the Kamaboko Squad too.

👥 The Kamaboko Squad

The Kamaboko Squad got dragged into essentially the same 2026 situation.

Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, Inosuke, Genya, and Kanao discovered:

* Modern clothes
* Modern technology
* Modern food
* Money
* Their own hidden wealth
* Their own new house

And then…

Peaceful music.

They basically became the parallel universe version of the Hashiras.

🗿 Zenitsu’s New Problem

Zenitsu discovered anime figures.

He immediately became obsessed.

Tanjiro tried to keep him calm.

Inosuke wanted to buy everything.

Zenitsu ended up carrying a bag full of figures around like priceless treasure.

His wallet was officially in danger.

🌙 And Then… Peace

Eventually, both groups actually went to sleep.

The Hashiras slept peacefully in their mansion.

The Kamaboko Squad slept peacefully in theirs.

Giyu slept with Minion.

Mitsuri dreamed about celebrities.

Zenitsu slept surrounded by anime figures.

Muichiro went outside instead of sleeping.

And for one glorious moment…

Nobody touched the time skipper.

No one caused a disaster.

No one accidentally jumped through time.

No one screamed.

No author appeared to complain.

The entire universe finally got a break.

…

Probably. 😭

🎭 The Overall Vibe

The whole AU is basically:

Demon Slayer + 2026 + accidental time travel + absurd wealth + modern shopping + crossover dreams + one suspicious cat + inexplicable peaceful music + everyone somehow surviving their own nonsense.

And the funniest part is that the characters themselves have started treating completely ridiculous things as normal.

Giyu can meet Todoroki in a cloud dimension and basically go:

“Oh. Okay.”

Sanemi can discover he’s a millionaire and immediately go to the gym.

Tengen can discover he’s even richer than the other millionaires and not notice.

Mitsuri can discover handbags and immediately plan an entire room for them.

And Minion?

Minion just watches. 🐈‍⬛
