🧬 My Version of X-Men – A Fresh Take on the Franchise 🧬
Hey everyone! I’ve been working on my own reimagining of the X-Men universe, blending the classic themes we all love—redemption, responsibility, maturity, hope, and identity—with an original character at the center: Sam Wexler, a mutant with a troubled past who finds new purpose through the X-Men.
On July 4th, 2005, the cities of Abilene and El Paso, Texas are annihilated by nuclear bombs, prompting World War 3 and a revival of the mandatory military draft.
For safety and security, the Patriot act has essentially stripped the mutants of nearly all their privacy (except for the X-Mansion, because Professor X has removed the security cameras)
Due to fuel shortage, an alternative energy source called Fluid Karma is produced by the government, that powers machines by remote, without refueling
On June 27th, 2008, Anna Marie (Rogue), a 17 year old girl in Mississippi, accidentally paralyses her boyfriend David, and ends up pregnant (through life absorption)
Cut to March 2009, Rogue is 8 months pregnant, and she meets Sam Wexler and James "Logan" Howlett (Wolverine)
This story takes place in a dystopian New York City where mutants aren’t just superpowered beings—they’re people struggling with trauma, acceptance, and the hope for a better future.
Key elements in my version:
🔥 A deeper, more personal take on Magneto as the antagonist—driven not just by ideology but by pain and lost hope.
❤️ A powerful emotional arc between Sam and Rogue, including an unexpected twist: Rogue is pregnant, and the twins become a symbol of a new beginning for them both.
⚔️ Intense battles with Mystique, Toad, and Sabretooth—but the heart of the story is about healing, not just fighting.
🕊️ Themes of redemption, even for the darkest characters.
This is my tribute to the heart of X-Men: the struggle of being different in a world that fears you—and finding your place anyway.

It focuses on mutants Von Lyacon and Misaka Mikoto as they are brought into a conflict between two groups with radically different approaches to bringing about the acceptance of mutant-kind: Master Wu's X-Men, and the Brotherhood of Mutants, led by Darth Vader.
Premise: On July 4th, 2005. The cities of Abilene and El Paso are annihilated by nuclear bombs, prompting World War 3 and a revival of the mandatory military draft. For safety and security, the Patriot act has essentially stripped the United States citizens of nearly all their privacy. Due to fuel shortage, an alternative energy source called Fluid Karma, is produced by a German company, but the byproduct seems to be problematic.
Cut to Dystopian 2008 Los Angeles, aka the Southland. Where a famous action star, Anthony Voorhees (My OC) returns from the Nevada desert with a case of amnesia, and had written a screenplay that predicts the end of the world. Along the way, he interacts with several colourfully sorted characters. Like professional Splatoon character Meggy Spletzer, power hungry villain Baron von Westphalen and possible identical twins Edwin and Elijah (@EdwinEmeraldESB10)
