(I believe Mim is Nene here. In the novel, she’s also just a café staff where Rak works.)

I like how the “secret” also plays out in smaller ways.
Like Pam casually asking Rak what kind of music she listens to,
not realizing she’s really interested.

When someone asks about your music, they’re usually trying to know 𝑦𝑜𝑢.
Finding common ground. Reading your moods.
Music says a lot about who we are.

…okay, medyo nagpaparinig na.
Erase. Erase. 😅

But this line?
“We all hide someone we like in our favorite playlist.”
True, right?

I really like Rak’s co-workers and her boss.
They saved her from Pam finding out she’s the one drawing for Kawi.
Sigh. I love supportive friends.

And I just want to say: I’m proud of Rak for standing up for herself.
It isn’t easy, especially when it means going against her parents (okay, her dad), whether for freedom or for happiness.
Living on her own. Quietly proving herself.

Then Natcha suddenly voices out my--

This episode is getting a little too personal. (Haha.)

Here’s to those who want a CP that isn’t rich-rich,
just ordinary girls, trying to get by.

That moment when Pam realizes she’s falling for Rak…
soft. Quiet. Dangerous.

Then tipsy Rak, with a little liquid courage, looking straight into Pam’s eyes.
But honestly, I’m glad she wasn’t tipsy when Kawi said Pam asked him to be her boyfriend.

Because I know
“Congratulations”
and “I’m happy for you”
would 𝑛𝑜𝑡 have been the words to come out of her mouth.

𝗨𝘀 - Episode 1: I Love, Therefore I Lie

I avoided this series for so long because I read the novel before it aired. My brain refused to let go of certain faces.
But here I am now… what the heck, give it to me, EmiBonnie!

That intro sequence?
It took me back to all the special places from the novel. It even reminded me of 𝐿𝐷.
Soft, nostalgic, and quietly emotional.

Okay, no more novel talk from here on.
I’m focusing on the story 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠 series wants to tell.

Pam feels like a puppy, you have to approach her gently. Her guard is always up.
And the way she cried over Kawi’s (Rak’s) drawing?
That alone shows how soft her heart really is.

But Rak could’ve told Kawi,
“I saw her first! Finders keepers!” 😭

This line really stayed with me:
"In pursuing love, most people lie to the one they love. Changing yourself to win someone's heart is a form of lying because it isn't who you truly are. But because of love, people are willing to change themselves."
but I’d like to add: 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿.
Change themselves 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑏𝑒𝑡𝑡𝑒𝑟.

Like tidying up your room because your crush is suddenly coming over.
You want them to see your good side first.

No, Pam, the food is good. Rak just doesn't wanna be the third wheel to her big bro and her crush. (I'm crying for Rak.)

Also, Emi in that restaurant scene? So PRETTY.
Okay. I see you now, Emi. Please forgive me for noticing this late.

Rak is a strong soldier! 🫡
If my crush asked me what (she might also be asking "who") I like then suddenly removes her top (kidding, not her top!)…
I might faint... but only after thanking the rain. (Haha!)

Of course, there should be a Classic Thai GL moment:
𝑑𝑟𝑦𝑖𝑛𝑔 ℎ𝑎𝑖𝑟 𝑤𝑖𝑡ℎ 𝑎 ℎ𝑎𝑖𝑟 𝑑𝑟𝑦𝑒𝑟.
Cliché, yes, but this one might be my favorite so far.
NGL, 𝑘𝑖𝑙𝑖𝑔.

Now, that last scene with Mim...
I have to say, she looked so pretty there.
(Everyone looks so pretty in this series, why?)

It’s not in the novel, and I avoided clips with her, and with View,
because I wasn’t ready for ViewMim before.
So I don’t know what her role is yet.

Excited for the next episode.

Last year, you could still get in at 𝟮.𝟱𝗸–𝟯.𝟱𝗸 for some couples. This year? Most starts are hovering around 𝟰.𝟱𝗸, with only MilkLove dipping slightly lower. That’s a pretty big shift in just one year.


The 𝗰𝗲𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴, though?


It hasn’t exploded out of nowhere... it’s just becoming more 𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑠𝑖𝑠𝑡𝑒𝑛𝑡. Before, only one couple touched the 17k range. Now multiple GL pairs are comfortably sitting at 𝟭𝟳𝗸–𝟭𝟴𝗸 like it’s normal.


Which kinda says a lot.


This doesn’t feel like “testing the market” anymore. It feels like organizers are 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 that GL fandoms will show up, spend, and sell out.


The ticket prices (and the number of fan meets 👀) are giving us... ulcer. 😅

I really feel for Na on that scene in the restaurant
Those two were talking and arguing like she wasn’t even there.
I hope it's a drea--Oh shoot. Not a dream.
And it went viral too, huh…

The best part for me was when she burned joss sticks in the coffee shop.
That level of desperation!

I didn’t watch the spell on her boss.
Sorry, too cringy for me. 😭

🍓 Aaaaand so that was it.
Open-ended.

Nine already moved on and has a girlfriend.
Then she meets Leemai somewhere random...
no girlfriend (I think). Very serendipity.

🍓 But TBH, I really wanted Na to say she wants Leemai.
Not because I wanted her to choose her,
but because of the reasons she gave for wanting Leemai in the first place.
And the reasons she gave for ending things,
aside from wanting peace… those felt 𝑓𝑖𝑥𝑎𝑏𝑙𝑒.

Still, they say you can’t pour from an empty cup--or something like that.
So maybe it was right that she chose herself,
instead of continuing the chaos she already made.

And yeah… never trust luck.
It feels like taking your hard-earned money
and putting it all on a bet.

𝗟𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗔 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲 – Episode 6 🎨

Fah (Jane) really looks like a high schooler. 𝑁𝑎 𝑟𝑎𝑘!

So apparently, Dai crosses her arms whenever she’s embarrassed or shy. Jane thought it was intimidation at first. but now that we know it’s just her default shy move? Suddenly very cute. 👉🏻👈🏻
That said… Dai not messaging Jane when she’s busy is a 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝗴𝗶 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁. Like, how hard is it to reply? 𝑀𝑎𝑔𝑏𝑎𝑔𝑜 𝑘𝑎 𝑛𝑎, 𝑃’𝐷𝑎𝑖!


My favorite scene this episode was right before Jane drooled 😅 that quiet moment when she realizes she’s actually falling for Dai. Soft, gentle, and very real.
Kilig sneaks up on you when you least expect it.

Wisut might be the saddest character here.
A pawn. Disposable.
A painful reminder of what happens to people with no power.

The Raindrop Killer proves you can never judge by looks.
He even killed the person he loved most.
I thought he stopped out of guilt... but no.
He just didn’t want to leave Tul alone, because he knows he was the only parent Tul ever had.

Doc Run’s dad deserves a 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 (alongside Pat’s parents).
I just really love him.

“I wanted to count tomorrow as day one together till we’re old.”
The proposal was so cute 😭
Sayang lang, may nag-spoil... because the scene was 𝑏𝑒𝑎𝑢𝑡𝑖𝑓𝑢𝑙.
I’m such a sucker for happy endings.

Also, double proposals should count as married already.
(Tul and I share the same brain cells.)

Oh, and I think this is #englot's best series by far (like everyone else says).

Fans are saying that 𝑖𝑓 this novel gets adapted, they want 𝗔𝗿𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗣𝗮𝗺 as the leads.
I get it, but they already did this kind of vibe in 𝑄𝑢𝑒𝑒𝑛𝑑𝑜𝑚. I feel like they need something new next. Maybe a heavier drama like 𝑃𝑙𝑢𝑡𝑜, or a totally different mood like 𝑅𝑢𝑛𝑎𝑤𝑎𝑦.

Personally? I kinda want 𝗡𝗮𝗺𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗺 for this.
Let Namtan be the 𝑒𝑥𝑡𝑟𝑎 and Film the 𝑙𝑒𝑎𝑑𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑙𝑎𝑑𝑦. Now that sounds fun and lowkey cute. 😅
(And I really want to see my babiis in a romcom, pause on drama and tears for a while.)

𝗞𝗮𝗼𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗲 could also work, but I don’t think they’d pick a project like this. They seem to want roles that really push their acting.

𝗟𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗠𝗶𝘂? Hmm. But who’s the extra? We all know Miu is naturally funny already.
Plus, it’s set in high school, so the cast needs to skew a bit younger.

Okay, I’m rambling again. 😭
Who do 𝑦𝑜𝑢 think would fit this romcom best?

𝗟𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗔 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲 – Episode 5 🎨

I already said this back in Episode 1, but I really love Jane’s supportive family.
For people who think gender and transitioning are just “confusion”… okay.

This episode quietly answered that without even trying to argue. 🍓

P’Dai stopped smoking because Jane hates the smell.
She gave Jane fermented fish because she heard Jane likes it.
Alright. We have a new green flag in town. Welcome, P’Dai! 🍓

Waii said it best:
Why should it matter if boys like boys or girls like girls?
Love 𝑖𝑠 a beautiful thing.

It’s 2025. The world has moved forward, so why are some people still stuck discriminating based on sexual orientation?
Also, my personal take: whatever I do inside my bedroom should not concern you. At all. 🍓

That said… small reality check. At Manila International Book Fair 2025, I personally saw it, around 10 shelves for BL comics, and only 2 for GL. So yeah, progress exists… but we still have a long way to go.
That being said, please continue supporting our GL writers and series creators by buying their work and watching on legitimate platforms. Small support goes a long way. 🍓

On a lighter note: my neck hurts for Jane. Girl was avoiding looking at Dai the whole pageant episode.
And Ging being Dai’s little sister?? Funny reveal. 🍓
