In 2014, photos of this abandoned house showed a property that looked almost move-in ready. The wood floors, stained glass, and clean exterior gave the impression that this home had simply been left behind.
Fast forward to 2025, and the transformation is shocking.

Frozen In Time - Lost to Fire: Inside a Destroyed Abandoned Farmhouse

I heard that this location was recently lost to a fire.
A fellow explorer first noticed the place in winter 2017. A wreath at the end of the lane. Fresh snowfall with no recent tire tracks. Inside, it looked like someone never came home from work. Nothing packed. Nothing staged. Just the quiet weight of a life interrupted.
The Turning Point
Not long after, a tragedy on the farm marked a clear before and after. The house and outbuildings began to slip from everyday life into the slow pull of neglect and decay. Nature moved in. So did curiosity.
By 2020 The Shift Was Obvious
Explorers reported major changes by 2020. Personal items were missing. The barn was picked over. Scrappers had started in the house. The story shifted from a still-life time capsule to a place being steadily stripped.
2024 Damage And The Vanishing Act
By 2024 more than three quarters of the windows were smashed. Doors broken. Even the pool table disappeared. If you have ever moved a pool table, you know that is not exactly a casual Saturday task. The abandoned building feel had turned from quiet to chaotic.
Fire In 2025
In July 2025 a fire was reported on the property.
What I Found On My Visit
On my visit the interior was a mess. Items scattered. Anything with value was already taken. Every window and door was destroyed. In the trees behind the house a person had set up an elaborate camp using tarps, crates, and anything salvageable from the home.

Todays fresh abandoned video, just posted, is a Well Hidden Abandoned House in Ontario That’s Been Forgotten for Years.
This 🏚️ abandoned house first appeared on Google Street View back in 2009, when the windows were already boarded up but the house was still visible. Over time, updates from 2013, 2018, 2019, 2021, and 2023 show it becoming more overgrown 🌳🌿 and hidden 👀.
Explorers have documented this house for years 📸, with photos showing up online as early as 2011. Between 2011 and 2022, at least 11 photo galleries of this abandoned place have been shared, documenting its decline from natural causes and vandalism 🚪🕳️.
When I found it myself a few months ago while driving in this area 🚗, I only noticed the driveway. The house was so hidden that as I pulled up, I didn’t even see it until I was right in front of it 😮.
Inside, graffiti 🎨 covers the walls, including what looks like song lyrics 🎶, giving the place a strange personality all its own.
