I Went to School and Graduated, Yet There Are No Jobs— Media Personality Jarvis Defends Her Partner Peller After Ycee’s ‘Olodo Uprising’ Remark

Popular content creator and AI personality Jarvis has come to the defense of her partner, Peller, following criticism from rapper Ycee, who recently described the growing popularity of some content creators as an “olodo uprising.”

Reacting in a video, Jarvis argued that many young Nigerians involved in content creation are educated individuals who are struggling to find jobs despite earning university degrees.

“Me that went to school, I graduated, and government no give us work now, what do you expect us to do? What do you expect us to do, sir?Go and tell that to your president.”

She questioned the expectation that graduates should remain unemployed after spending years acquiring education and skills.

“You cannot expect us to have IQ and high knowledge, and at the end of the day, with all the knowledge and everything, we’ll end up cleaning toilets.”

Jarvis stressed that many young people are simply trying to survive through legitimate means rather than turning to crime.

The content creator also pushed back against claims that content creators do not value education, using herself as an example.

“You are telling us that we don’t want to have education? Okay, me that graduated, me that went to school. Yes, hello, I went to school. Graduate. And how is it now?”

She further criticized political leaders and questioned why content creators are being targeted instead of addressing unemployment and economic hardship.

She further suggested that attention should be directed toward tackling unemployment and creating opportunities for young people rather than mocking those who have turned to content creation as a source of livelihood.

Mr Ibu’s Son Speaks Out, Accuses Stepmother of Taking Control of Late Actor’s Assets

A new family controversy has emerged surrounding the estate of late Nollywood legend, John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu.

Okafor Somotochukwu, who identified himself as the third son and fourth child of the late actor, has publicly spoken out against his stepmother, Stella, accusing her of taking control of his father's properties and assets while excluding other children from benefiting from the estate.

In a statement shared online, Somotochukwu reacted to a video in which his stepmother allegedly appealed for financial assistance and reportedly suggested that her children were the only children Mr Ibu had.

According to him, the late actor had several children from different relationships, some older and some younger than himself. He described the narrative as unfair and disrespectful to the rest of Mr Ibu's children and family members.

Somotochukwu further alleged that after Mr Ibu's passing, his stepmother took control of the actor's properties and assets. He claimed that a Lagos property belonging to the late actor was sold for ₦60 million without any consultation with the other children.

He also alleged that a property in Enugu was sold for approximately ₦17 million, while another property in Asaba was reportedly sold for ₦11 million. According to him, he received only ₦40,000, which he said was presented to him as a gift.

The young man also raised concerns about funds reportedly donated by Nigerians during Mr Ibu's illness, alleging that substantial amounts of money and other assets were not shared among all beneficiaries.

Expressing his frustration, Somotochukwu said he struggled financially after his father's death and was unable to clear his school fees or access his WAEC results, despite the existence of assets he believes were intended for all of Mr Ibu's children.

He stated that his decision to speak publicly was motivated by a desire to tell his side of the story and defend what he believes would have been his father's wishes.

As of the time of filing this report, Stella has not publicly responded to these specific allegations. The claims made by Somotochukwu remain allegations and have not been independently verified.

The bold decision by the Anambra State House of Assembly. The decision to arrest Mr Chukwunyere (husband to the wuckéd woman, Mrs Chioma).
The husband to the wuck£d and evul woman (Mrs Chioma), can't claim igπo√an¢£ of his wife's evul acts towards 10 years old Chiziterem.

One may say it's possible the woman m@It√£ated the child only when the husband wasn't at home. But the !πju√!es are too visible. They are all over the child's body. The husband was obviously aware of the !πhûm@n treatment and so deserved to be a√√est£d too.
This is a good move by the Anambra state House of Assembly.

Tribute to Alex by his wife 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹

"Before there was Pookie, before there was Pookstar, there was Asa, Asa IKUKU, one of the very first names you gave me and there was Nwa. The name somehow became home.

When my mother p@ss£d a year ago, you were my anchor. You held me together during a season where something felt heavy. Your love gave me the strength to keep putting one foot in front of the other.

I find myself reaching for you in a hundred different ways each day, only to remember I cannot. How do I live in a world where I won't hear the random bursts of you calling out, 'Pookstar’?

If love could be measured in little things, you would be impossible to quantify. It was in the details you carefully recorded, the things people mentioned once and forgot.

I treasure the notes you left for me around the house. I would find your notes tucked into drawers, on mirrors, beside my things, hidden in places. Little messages from my Dadaa to his Nwa. Sometimes sweet, sometimes just a simple reminder that I was loved.

Our marriage was in so many ways, a faith journey. We prayed together, trusted God and his promises together. No conversation was ever too ordinary for prayer. You spent your life trusting God, you pointed so many people back to him, including me.

Dadaa, you mattered. To so many people, in so many ways. And that is why this loss feels enormous. But grief is not the end of your story. I know heaven welcomed you with the same joy you brought to so many of us and I know God's beloved son has come home.

Being your wife was the greatest honor, I will always be forever grateful that, of all people in the world, I was the one who got to share this life with you and having your love is one of the greatest gifts God has ever given me.

I hope you always knew how deeply I loved you, Dadaa. I thought I understood the depth of that love while you were here. You are my sunshine, my only sunshine. You are my Dadaa, you will always be my favorite human being. Forever your Nwa..."
