it’s been almost 2 years since we left the US with a 10 week old baby & 2 year old.

I had a consultation recently that made me start reflecting a lot of how this journey has impacted us as a family, as a couple &, of course, all four of us as individuals.
Here’s what I’ve been thinking:

✨ An outline is better than a script:
- Part of why we left the US was because we realized we were living out the script of what we’ve always been told we should want. House, marriage, careers, 2 cars in the garage.. all beautiful blessings for sure. But what would our life look like if we took FULL creative control? We outline how we want to feel day to day & allow the rest to be filled in serendipitously.

✨ Adaptability is a muscle that requires strengthening:
- I THOUGHT I was adaptable. I really did.. but living nomadically will push you past your limits of adaptability & you come out so unphasable (new word?) on the other side.

✨ Do not allow anyone to speak fear over your plans or desires:
- I’ve become so ferociously protective of my desires, goals, plans & dreams. There’s always a “what if..” or “have you considered..” person lurking about - often with good intentions - who will plant seeds of fear & doubt in you. Learn to be quiet & trust.

Okay, I’m done rambling!

Hey Y'all!

For our next few videos I'd love some input.. we're considering some more informational videos & more comparisons. Ie. How to Scout locations or Mexico City vs Rio de Janeiro. Let me know if you have a preference or anything specific you'd like to see!

Usually we upload on Thursdays, but we're taking this week off as we prepare to head to the beach! We'll be in Puerto Escondido for the first time & can't wait for our trip (make sure to check out our IG for real time updates!).

Here's a photo of the kids in their hats & sunglasses all ready to hit the beach!

As always, much love family <3

Why go to Belize with Noma?

This 21 day experience allows you to get a taste of what being a digital nomad family feels like! It’s also just a great way to travel with your family this Summer & not have to worry about where you’ll stay, how you’ll work or who will watch the kids!
Noma also has adults only trips so take a look at some of their destinations (Kenya, Buenos Aires, Barcelona..) even if you don’t have little ones.

English & Español:

Hey Everyone! It’s Courtney :)

We have a lot of new subscribers so I wanted to do a quick “Get to Know Us”

- We are from Atlanta, GA US. Justin was born in Toronto, Canada & I’m from Jacksonville, FL

- I speak a little Spanish & our whole family is learning. We got a lot of comments about how we should learn Spanish if we are living in Spanish speaking countries & I agree! I May not speak much Spanish on YouTube, but I try to respond to Spanish comments in Spanish to be respectful :)

- Our kids are currently 4 & almost 2. They are US/Canadian duel citizens.

- “Digital Nomad” is the closest title that fits us, but we acknowledge that phrase is linked to some negative connotations like gentrification. We consider ourselves travelers & make sure to learn about, show appreciation for & respect our host countries & the locals.

- Our goal is to find a few cities around the world to have as home bases & to help others establish a multi-continental lifestyle so they can experience peace & safety & live a life they love.

If you have any questions for us, feel free to ask away & make sure to follow us on Instagram 🤍

- Nuestros hijos tienen actualmente 4 y casi 2 años.
