Snowy days are great days for baking. ❄️

I baked two Honey White Breads. I have so many recipes and forgot about this one. It’s actually a favorite of mine. And also baked Cacao Brownies. I like using Cacao Powder rather than Cocoa Powder. Tastes more chocolatey.

I sure am loving having all this snow. ❄️

An absolutely gorgeous afternoon for snowshoeing at Rice City Pond - Wolf Hill Uxbridge Massachusetts 2.83 miles. 🙌

We like going out in the morning but it was to freezing. It warmed up and was so sunny got to 30*F which felt wonderful this afternoon. ☀️

The trails at the beginning had been snowshoed/walked on. Once we got to the Wolf Hill Trails no one had been there. Some area had deep snow and we had to climb over down trees. That’s very awkward with big snowshoes. Sure was a great workout.

So tranquil and peaceful. Oh how I
love the Winter and Snow. ❄️ 🇺🇸🧚🏻‍♀️

Before we headed to the Zoo my Lil Bud helped me make dough for Crusty Rolls. He likes doing the Stretch and Folds. The dough rises for many hours then we shape them. I taught Conner how to use my Bakers Scale. It’s a High Hydration Dough which is sticky to work with. Conner thought that was fun having sticky fingers. We will have the rolls with Sausages and Baked Beans.

My Sons Chickens and Ducks now
love the Alfalfa Sprouts I grow for them. It’s great to get them fresh greens when there isn’t any available due to all the snow. Conner helped me clean the Sprouts and spin them dry.

A fun day with my Lil Bud at Capron Park Zoo Attleboro Massachusetts. We haven’t been to the Zoo since December, Conner was missing Ramses the Lion 🦁 a 19 year old White Lion. He was so happy to see his Lion Friend.

Still lots of snow and was cold with strong winds. Conner loves the snow as much as I do. ❄️☃️😍

An absolutely gorgeous sunny Winters day for Snowshoeing. It was 5*F when we headed out. Warmed up to 28*F felt like a heatwave after the freezing temperatures we have had. ❄️☀️

Snowshoed 2.66 miles at West Hill Dam. It was so peaceful and quiet. We had to break the snow as no one had been on these trails. A big workout but so happy we did it.

Do any of you use All Trails App? I log my miles on the App and also on the Apple Watch. The App says 2.66 and the Watch said 3.06 and Chris got 3.04. I wonder why there is such a difference in the total??

Saw lots of Animal Tracks and 2 Insect Gall Species.
