My Baby Girl Ariel has found sleeping up on my desk shelf a safe spot. I added a blanket and kitten pillows along with a puffy fuzzy soft ball that she cuddles. Oh my gosh so cute.

This morning I got her down to her food and water bowls. She ate all on her own and first time drinking water. Yay!! She’s also using the litter box. She’s doing so well. Her purr is so loud. Gosh I love her so much.

It’s always great to get Bananas on the reduced rack. I made 2 Banana Raisin Breads. Also baked Naan to go along with my Pot Sticker Soup. Sure hit the spot.

Last 2 pics are Baby Girl Ariel eating baby food purée meat and taking a nap after her meal. The Rescue said baby food is a good option to feed her. And she loves it. So happy she has been eating many meals today. 🙏

We are moving around slow as not to startle her. Before I open the door to sit with her I say “Baby Girl Ariel I’m coming in” today she lifts her head up and starts purring. I can’t get over how much she has relaxed in 24 hours.
I’m in love with this sweet baby.

Baby girl Ariel had a rough 24 hours. We decided to move her to my Fairy Room because the other rooms had to many places to hide and she was digging the underside of the couch trying to crawl up inside to hide. We heat with woodstove so shutting a room will make that room freezing. We got a small space heater for the Fairy Room so it’s nice and warm for Ariel.
She didn’t eat for a day and a half. I called the Rescue and talked to the behavioral therapist and she gave me several great suggestion. We bolted out to Pet Smart and picked up the food treats she recommended.

After dinner I sat with Ariel for a couple of hours. Talking gently to here. I held her in my lap offering her the food. She wasn’t interested,, I then used my finger to finger feed her. All of a sudden she opened her mouth like a Baby Bird and started eating and also purring. I was so happy and relieved she ate.

Shes very shy and timid but has made huge strides in 2 days. She has such a loud purr and when I pet her she rolls over and started gnawing the blanket and licking me. I love her so much. She’s only 5#, very petite and dainty.

Makes me so sad thinking about what she and the other 49 cats rescue went thru. Horrible disgusting conditions. Poor babies. They all have been adopted. That’s great news!! 🥰🐱🐈‍⬛


Conner drew Ariel some pictures and was such a good boy sitting quietly talking to her. He was saying “I love you and your my best friend Ariel” so precious.

I just melt when I see her sweet little face and bright Goldeyes.

Took my Lil Bud to Delcarte Conservation Land in Franklin Massachusetts for a great nature hike.
Conner got a Camera for Christmas and was so excited to take his 1st Train Picture - MBTA Commuter Rail from Forge Park inbound to Boston. I love that he is so happy taking pictures.

Today is a very happy day for Chris and I. We adopted a one year old Bombay Cat. I named her Ariel after Archangel Ariel 👼🏻
Archangel Ariel is known as the angel of nature. She oversees the protection and healing of animals and plants, as well as the care of the Earth's elements (such as water, wind, and fire).

I have been so sad and heartbroken since my Dear Faylinn went to Rainbow Bridge Nov 14. I miss her so much. I wasn’t sure if I would get another Cat. Our house felt way too empty and quiet without a Cat.

I started looking to adopt and then I found Ariel. She had a very rough start at life. Was in a Cat Hoarder home with 50 Cats several had passed. Ariel was emaciated, only 3#, severally dehydrated, lost muscle mass and her eyes rolled back. The Rescue workers got her to a Vet. She was put on Iv fluids and vitamins and a special food to help her gain weight. They said if they didn’t find her that day she wouldn’t had survived. She is a gentle sweet girl that touched all the Rescue workers. Her story was on the local news.

We had everything all set for her when we got home. She cried the whole car ride about 50 minute drive.
Aww poor baby.

They said to expect her to hide and it will take time for her to adjust. And sure enough she is hidden somewhere. We only have two rooms open for her to adapt. In time she will start to feel comfy and come out to explore. Then we can open the whole
house to her.

I immediately fell in love with her. She’s so petite and pretty. She let me hold her and rubbed her little face on my hands.

Thank you Ariel for letting us adopt you. We will give you so much love,care, cuddles and fun playing. I’m so happy. 😻👼🏻

As you can tell by my picture. I’m so happy how my Bubbly Focaccia Bread Dough came out. I made it yesterday. It rises in the refrigerator for 24-48 hours. Seeing how active the dough is with the bubbles makes me giddy. 🤩 The Crumb was perfect and so soft.

It’s also such a fun dough to work and best of all tastes delicious.

Baking bread is so rewarding.
