Hi and welcome to my channel @DarrenJohnsonRail DJR. My name is Darren and have been a rail enthusiast for all of my life. My main goal for this channel is to capture the UK rail scene in all its glory, mainly covering the South West of England, for future generations to look back on and enjoy. I will try and upload videos twice a week, Tuesdays and Sundays, content permitting and a few short format videos in-between. I hope that you enjoy the journey with me! Hello everyone hope you are well 👍 Just to let you know that my latest video taken at the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway Diesel Gala 2026 will be out today at 17:00. It was my first time at this gala and got to say it was absolutely amazing will be definitely going next year 😀 Well done to everyone involved.... Hello everyone..... I have a confession there will be no video until next Sunday! Don't ask somehow I have managed to permanently delete two videos from my phone, the first was one taken at the Watercress Line Diesel Gala and the second from a day at Eastleigh yesterday. I had an update on my new phone that required me to free up some storage, I pressed the wrong button not once but twice and deleted all my content from the main storage area and then from the recycling bin, oh and to add to the problems I never had the storage cloud set up so nothing saved there either 🙃 I am totally gutted as had two great videos lined up and had put a lot of time, money and work in editing them.... Still onwards and upwards maybe the GoPro was the safest option for me after all.... See you all soon Darren DJR 😀
