Hi and welcome to my channel @DarrenJohnsonRail DJR. My name is Darren and have been a rail enthusiast for all of my life. My main goal for this channel is to capture the UK rail scene in all its glory, mainly covering the South West of England, for future generations to look back on and enjoy. I will try and upload videos twice a week, Tuesdays and Sundays, content permitting and a few short format videos in-between. I hope that you enjoy the journey with me! Hello everyone hope you are well 👍 Just to let you know that my latest video taken at Eastleigh & Salisbury Station will be out today at 16:00hrs. It was a great day with plenty of action from railtours to freight and everything else in-between! I have to say my highlight was seeing the refurbished SWR 159103 back in service, I am a secret 159 fan! Hello everyone hope you are well 👍 Just to let you know that my latest video taken on Saturday 8th of August 2026 will be out today around 16:00hrs. It was a great day at three stations, Pewsey, Westbury and Bruton. In this episode we capture 2 x 33's, 3 x 47's, and a 57 all on railtour related duties. You will also see D1935 on its last stretch through Pewsey before being removed at Westbury due to what I believe to be some sort of brake issue, hopefully it's not too bad and the LSL team will work there magic and get her back in action soon. Hello everyone hope you are well 👍 Just to let you know that my latest video taken at the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway Diesel Gala 2026 will be out today at 17:00.
