Be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger. Remember, our fight is not against one another, but against the powers of darkness.

Take a moment to meditate on God's faithfulness and recall to mind testimonies of His goodness, whether it be personal testimonies or stories from Scripture of time and time again where God cared for and came through for His people. There is no situation without hope. Our personal level of hope depends on whose voice we are listening to.

The concept of restoration in Scripture is so profound that we can actually be encouraged when we face difficulty, knowing that God WILL restore and redeem everything. When we remember and fill our hearts and minds with the testimonies of God's goodness and faithfulness, we cannot help but be filled with hope and joyful anticipation for what God will do in the situations we face.
