I am the great custodian of 80's Commercial Advertising! In this vast library I will provide many hours of entertainment with many volumes of commercials. I shall also provide riches from the transitional periods of the 70's and 90's and select entertainment and news offerings from this awesome and sublime time period. Witness! the glory days of commercials!
Keep in mind that I DO NOT post anything made after 1996.
I remove comments at my own discretion. Anybody pushing a political agenda or espousing bigoted or hateful ideology will be blocked, end of story.
The videos on my channel are protected under fair use copyright law. They are presented for archival/historical purposes, education and criticism/commentary. No infringement is intended.

Just to let everybody here know, I'm personally not affiliated with 80scommercialvault.com. I have never registered a website with that domain and it does not reflect my views.
About a year ago I blocked a guy for making a divisive and hateful political statement (I try to keep any all current political discourse off of my channel) and have continued to silence him when he tries to comment on my videos. I guess this is his response. Oh well.

90's Commercials Vol. 491 was set as "made for kids" by YouTube and the comments are now disabled for it. I've already appealed and they still decided against me. There seems to be no way to appeal that decision. Apparently today's children are totally interested in commercials from 34 years ago.
One video out of 1,800 is not the end of the world, but this kind of thing might affect the kinds of things I can post here going forward.
I'm looking to get in touch with somebody directly at YouTube to explain my case and can hopefully get this resolved.

So the comments were apparently turned back on for Vol. 310: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hd0pO...I have no idea if this will last, but perhaps it was manually reviewed by a human (gasp) and determined to not be relevant to children in the year 2020.
I'm still very wary about posting the "k" word in video descriptions and will be more cautious towards posting this type of content in the future.

The comments section on the last volume was taken down by youtube, and I seemingly have no way of re-enabling them. It might happen to the next video as well. I might have to reconsider what sort of content I post in the future because of this COPPA nonsense, but if comments disappear from certain videos, please know that it isn't my decision.
