Well I used to be a cocaine addict & alcoholic. Loved to party but really was just trying to escape my life. Grew up with an abusive, alcoholic father who died when I was 15. My mom had cancer and thank God was healed. I’ve been through abuse, arrests, overdoses, and friends who committed suicide. For a long time I carried guilt and shame for the things I've done. In all honesty, there wasn't a lot I wouldn't do to feel something. One day I stepped into a church, hungover, smelling of booze, weed with left over blow in my wallet. I've never felt such love, mercy & freedom. God met me right where I was, He pursued me relentlessly with love, grace & forgiveness. I slowly began to see my life change right before my own eyes. As a follower of Jesus, all I want is to extend the same love to others, the way it was shown to me.

The music industry prefers young talent. The problem is, I’m not a teenager anymore. I spent my teens and 20’s fighting a drug and alcohol addiction. Honestly, I wasn’t fighting it until an OD, I wanted it because it helped me deal with my trauma. By the time I stepped into a church, hungover and high, my 20’s were practically over. God saved my life on a few occasions, delivered me from my addictions and set me free. But here I was, 30 and feeling like my best years were behind me. I got into music, taught myself how to write and produce a song start to finish. God planted this desire in me to make music. So I did it as a hobby while working a 50-60 hr/week job. Last year felt like a blessing and a curse, I had to have a couple surgeries that took me out of work and while it was extremely painful, it was a blessing that God allowed me to put more time into learning and making music. I never had more than 50-60 monthly listeners while I did it as a hobby. Once I was able to work, I hit 100 and so I asked God to get me to 1,000 monthly listeners by Christmas if this is what He wants me to do. Christmas Eve I had 2,000. Praise God! I truly believe that God wants to move in all genres of music. Even an instrumental song made by someone inspired by the Holy Spirit can move someone. It breaks through language barriers. But here I am, a little bit older, competing in a teen and early 20’s market in two niches that aren’t super popular, “Christian” and “Dance Music”. They also said I needed to stick to one sub genre but I don’t want to be chained to one genre, I’ve lived enough of my life in chains. So if I wanna make pop, dance, house, progressive house, melodic bass, drum & bass, trap, trance & hip-hop beats, I will.. and I did. I’m proud to be at 3,000 listeners but I’m believing it will continue to grow. Will you help me?
