Dr Joanna Howe is a Professor of Law, former NSW Rhodes Scholar and mother of 5.

As an academic Dr Howe examines vulnerability in all its forms and has a particular interest in the most voiceless and vulnerable. The author and co-editor of three books, she is the current holder of an Australian Research Council Linkage grant investigating undocumented migrants on Australian farms. She is also examining the practice and regulation of late-term abortion and newborn abortion survivors in Australia.

WHAT A HISTORIC NIGHT ✨ Our Albury community town hall is the first time that we've held a Candidate's Forum during an election on abortion. Our 300+ crowd was so grateful to hear from three of the Farrer by-election candidates David Farrer from One Nation, Brad Robertson from the Nats and Rebecca Scriven from Family First alongside Nationals leader Matt Canavan candidates were SO BRAVE to do something that has never been done before and to boldly answer questions on their position on late term abortion and federal funding for abortion. They knew the media establishment would likely write hit pieces on their attendance at last night's forum but they came anyway. That's what we need in politics- men and women courageous enough to defy the leftist media and political establishment and stand for the truth 🔥
