Just got an email that honestly bummed me out.

Peppermint Academy had some real potential, and it’s such a shame that they weren’t able to crowdfund the project. I really hope this doesn’t stop them from finding another way to release it.

And honestly, this is a reminder for all of us: if we want more gay games, and weird little niche projects made specifically for us, we have to show that there’s an audience for them.

That doesn’t mean everyone has to back every project. Money is real, life is expensive, and not everyone can support everything.

But when you do see a game that sparks your curiosity, speaks to you, and you’re able to afford it, consider supporting it. Even small signs of support help prove that this niche is alive, loud, and worth investing in.
