Quilts are the best! Hi! I am Kris, the woman behind the quilting channel Sew the Distance. I am so happy you are here.

I am a Christian, wife, mother, teacher, and avid quilter. I am married to my best friend (everyone says that, right? I am married to my friend and business partner, Brendan. We have two grown sons. We live in Pennsylvania with our golden girl, Daisy.

I have been sewing and quilting since 1995. I started this YouTube Channel in 2020 to combine my love of quilting and my love of teaching! Here I offer tutorials, Lessons from an Old Quilt, and more!

I love sharing the world of quilting with everyone! I also love learning new techniques, growing as a quilter, and being actively involved in the quilting community.
