Channel Content Update!!
Dear Friends, you must have noticed changes in the video thumbnails with some pink and blue borders. I am sure some of you may have already figured out the reason for this change. The PINK border on the thumbnails means that it is a track for FEMALE singers and the BLUE border means that it is for MALE singers. The DUETS will continue to be as usual and without any colored borders. I think this will likely help my viewers in quickly browsing through the videos of their interest. Enjoy !!

Consolidation of ANIL CHAUHAN's Karaoke Channels
Dear Friends, let me begin with expressing my deepest gratitude for your support and encouragement...I owe everything to you. As you all may already be aware, I currently have the following four channels up and running to serve my viewers:

B 4 YOU KARAOKE

In an effort to streamline the contents and make it easier for my viewers to search for their desired karaoke tracks in one place, I am in the process of consolidating these channels and bringing over all the contents into my main channel ANIL CHAUHAN KARAOKE. This task will be accomplished within the next two weeks. Starting today, you will see these tracks from my other channels being published almost every couple of hours on my main channel.

It is my humble request to the subscribers from my other three channels to kindly subscribe to my main channel and enjoy a much larger collection of karaoke tracks. Many of the tracks were created a long time ago. I am also creating improved versions of these tracks and both versions will be available to you on my main channel. In the coming months, I will also be organizing the tracks in various ways to provide a better user-interface.

Dear friends, my legal battle with Meragana.com is still ongoing. I shall let you all know as and when the final outcome is known. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to those who have financially contributed towards my legal fund. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the people of East London, particularly Mr. Vijay Kumar and Mr. Bhups Bhamra. They are actively involved in arranging events at various venues to raise funds in support of my legal fight with Meragana.com. UPDATE ON CHANNEL STATUS
Dear Friends,
This is to update you on the status of my channel. My case with Meragana is now in Delhi High Court. I am fighting an extremely expensive court case. To date, I have had to spend almost 3 lakh rupees in attorney fees and there will be much more in the coming days. Per the order of the High Court judge, I am currently going through a mediation with Meragana. If the mediation fails, the case will then be handled by the High Court Judge. Since the case is ongoing, in the interim, YouTube has removed all the copyright strikes and has allowed me to operate my channel as usual. As you all can see, despite Meragana's malafide intentions and YouTube's flawed copyright dispute process which allowed Meragana to issue fraudulent copyright strikes on my channel, I am still publishing my karaoke videos. This is because I am not dependent on Meragana's tracks to produce my karaoke videos. I have never used their tracks, which are not even in the public domain. All my tracks are from my own Karaoke CDs and DVDs that are available in the market. I have all the evidence to prove my case.
Despite the financial hardship, I am fighting this case because I know I have not used Meragana's tracks and I have not done anything illegal. Meragana is not even the legal copyright owner of any tracks and yet they are claiming copyright on some tracks. Unfortunately, YouTube's copyright dispute process is seriously flawed and it enabled Meragana to shut down other karaoke channels. Fortunately, I was able to save my channel with timely counter notifications and legal action against Meragana. I shall keep you posted on the ongoing case and the final outcome. In the meantime, I very humbly request my viewers to assist me financially in fighting this case. Your contributions will not only boost my morale but will also lessen my financial burden.

प्रिय मित्रों,

मैं आपको अपने चैनल और मेरे अदालत में चल रहे मामले की स्थिति के बारे में जानकारी देना चाहता हूँ। मेरा केस फ़िलहाल दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट में विचाराधीन है, और मैं एक बेहद ख़र्चीला मुक़दमा लड़ रहा हूँ। अब तक मैंने लगभग 3 लाख रुपये वकीलों की फ़ीस में ख़र्च किए हैं, और आने वाले समय में ख़र्च और बढ़ने की संभावना है।
हाई कोर्ट के आदेशानुसार, मैं और Meragana फिलहाल Mediation प्रक्रिया से गुज़र रहे हैं। यदि यह बातचीत सफ़ल नहीं होती है तो मामला हाई कोर्ट के जज द्वारा सुना जाएगा। इस बीच, YouTube ने मेरे चैनल से सभी Copyright Strikes हटा दी हैं और मुझे अपने चैनल को सामान्य रूप से चलाने की अनुमति दे दी है।
Meragana की दुर्भावनापूर्ण नीयत और YouTube की त्रुटिपूर्ण Copyright Dispute प्रणाली के बावजूद, जिसने उन्हें मेरे चैनल पर ग़लत तरीक़े से Copyright Strikes लगाने का अवसर दिया, मैं अपने चैनल पर नियमित रूप से Karaoke वीडियो पोस्ट कर रहा हूँ। यह इसलिए संभव है क्योंकि मैंने कभी भी Meragana के Tracks का उपयोग नहीं किया है। मेरे द्वारा इस्तेमाल किए गए सभी Tracks मेरे स्वयं के ख़रीदे हुए Karaoke CDs और DVDs से हैं, जो बाजार में उपलब्ध हैं। मेरे पास अपने दावों को साबित करने के लिए सभी आवश्यक प्रमाण हैं।
यह क़ानूनी लड़ाई मेरे लिए वित्तीय रूप से बहुत चुनौतीपूर्ण है, लेकिन मैं इसे इसलिए लड़ रहा हूँ क्योंकि मैं जानता हूँ कि मैंने कुछ भी अवैध या अनुचित नहीं किया है। Meragana किसी भी Track का क़ानूनी Copyright मालिक नहीं है, फिर भी उन्होंने अन्य Karaoke चैनलों को निशाना बनाते हुए ग़लत तरीक़े से Copyright Claims किए। लेकिन मेरी Timely Counter Notifications और क़ानूनी कार्यवाही के कारण, मैं अपना चैनल बचाने में सफ़ल रहा।

IMPORTANT UPDATE ON MY CHANNEL
Dear Friends, you all must have been wondering why I have stopped publishing karaoke tracks in the last few days... it is not out of choice but due to my compulsion. This is to inform you all that a Company who is not even the copyright owner of the audio tracks has initiated copyright strikes on my channel with malafide intentions. They offer karaoke tracks for a fee and I am offering them free to my viewers. I have become their competition and they are trying to shut down my channel on frivolous and unfounded grounds. I am fighting this with YouTube and I will do everything within my means to not let them succeed. Please feel free to contact me through my email. I hope not, but it's quite possible that my channel may be shut down for some time until a resolution is reached. Since I am not doing anything illegal, I am sure I will eventually prevail but I may have a long battle ahead of me. I need your prayers and support.
