FritzCast was a Libertarian-leaning podcast production that ran from 2015-2022. Hosted by Fritz, the show originally began as a podcast that was released weekly, looking over the latest political news from an independent, libertarian-leaning perspective. Fritz blended a comedic approach to the severity of the issues, trying to find solutions to problems. FritzCast eventually grew to a YouTube production as well, featuring many interviews with media personalities and political candidates.
The Fall of Sanity is underway and will return Fritz to his roots, with a focus on podcasting and melding a lighthearted approach to the latest cavalcade of politics and news.

The Fall of Sanity Podcast
In 2017, when the @eagles went off to face the Patriots in Super Bowl LII, all my Pats fans were extremely happy knowing they’d get an easy win…
In fact, the media, laid some massive disrespect on the underdog and almost nobody paid us some respect, except for an epic rant from Kyle Brandt.
I just calmly told everyone “It’s okay…empires fall, don’t be sad it’s over, be happy because you got to live through it.” The Eagles went on to win in a massive “upset,” 41-33, with Nick Foles winning MVP.
To the Chiefs…
I’m sorry. Empires fall. Don’t be sad because you didn’t get a theeepeat, be happy because you lived to see it potentially happen.
Yea, three in a row would be a legacy…We #Eagles have a legacy…it’s killing legacy’s.

The Fall of Sanity Podcast
You know what the real issue is with #politics in America?
#Tribalism exacerbated by the #media. Humans are already wired for tribalism, and typically when one has adapted to their tribe, any outside force is seen as a threat to the good of the tribe. This happens on both sides of the aisle.
So many Democrats/Progressives/left of center people see Donald Trump as evil, look at everything bad he’s ever said, and see people who vote for him as 100% aligned with every word he says. Therefore they see anybody Republican/Conservative/Right of center as racist, misogynist, homophobic, transphobic, etc.
Now, it isn’t completely true of the people that voted Trump. The idea that anyone is 100% aligned with any political candidate is nonsensical.
Trump gained in the Latino vote at levels Republicans have never seen. Trump gained the African American vote, again, progressively from 2016 to 2020 to 2024. And he already had the Evangelical vote (whether that’s bizarre or not). When you scream at people who don’t agree with you that they are X, Y, and/or Z bad thing, they will tend to raise their middle finger at you and vote for the guy you hate out of spite.
But let’s not leave the Republican/Conservative/Right of Center people go off clean. There is a Christian Nationalist movement there that has devolved the conversation of #Abortion simply down to “murdering babies” or “infanticide”. When you actively ignore the fact that abortion has a wide array of necessity (yes, there are absolutely situations where it is a necessity and the life of the mother should never have to be put in jeopardy especially when a pregnancy is nonviable. Women should not be expected to suffer through tragic situations) and simply classify it as birth control, it’s easy to demonize it—and that’s a disgusting thing to do. They push the Bible and their religious belief above the necessity of having a small an unobtrusive government that, while will protect an individuals right to religious belief and practices, will NOT instill law that overrides the rights of the people.
And because of such sharp divides, it turns out that neither side actually listens to each other and sees the other side as the flawed human beings we ALL are. We’d rather paint the world in black and white, understand what we want to understand and attack the things that we don’t understand because it makes us uncomfortable.
Well my friends, the world is far more gray than you’re willing to admit, and we must break ourselves of this divisive nonsense to start understanding one another. Not with a focus of hate. There is no place for Hate here. There is no place for laughing in the face of another persons fears, whether you think they are sound fears or a little too much paranoia. There is no place to here to decide that ONE side is right and the OTHER side is wrong.
And part of the problem is that we have literally only two major political parties, and this fight I’ve listed above is being fought by 2/3 of the nation (because by voter turnout numbers, roughly 1/3 vote Republican, 1/3 vote Democrat, 1/3 don’t vote).
When “The Fall of Sanity” launches, we’re not picking sides. We’re not stumping for the Libertarian Party as was previously done on the former podcast, or the Republicans, or the Democrats…
We’re focusing on learning to love and respect one another again. We’re focusing on looking at each other as human beings. We’re looking at topics neutrally, we’re going to learn about things that maybe make us uncomfortable. We’re going to challenge our thinking rather than reinforcing what we want to believe or be true.
Stay tuned.
