Hey, it's Rayan and I am the owner on the channel and the one who manages everything on this account.
My channel used to be named MeleeMan 14 from June 2017 to April 2022 but I changed it to my real name since I realized it’s my personal account that I frequently use.

From, November 2016 to July 2019, I recorded/streamed me playing Nintendo games very frequently. Then I took a break for a couple years and didn't do it as much. I was usually was making videos when I was in the phase of watching Nickelodeon and Disney Channel shows frequently so I uploaded those. But since July 2022 I decided to come back and play some of my favorite Nintendo games especially Mario Party games 1-5. However, I still do videos where I unpackage items which may include game consoles, video games, controllers, and even DVDs and CD albums of my favorite artists!
So come here to subscribe and turn on notifications to not miss anything I upload and stream!

I don't know when it exactly happened, but I think it was this last week of October, 10 years ago, when my blue Nintendo 3DS XL's screens got detached from each other (it still worked, for that time being). I remember in October 2015, I would on almost every school day bring my Nintendo 3DS to play on my school bus to school to get some entertaininment after comparing myself to somebody else who brought his phone on the bus and thought it would be cool to bring my system. I played Mario Kart DS on the bus, I remembered, and Mission mode levels with Wario in it, especially the boss one and where Wario has to hit a number of enemies with stars over and over, and listened to the Backstreet Boys songs I had on my SD Card on the Nintendo 3DS Sound software, especially on the way to school. I didn't have any protective cover or case that I used or put it in when not in use, even though I had one bought that prior year. So, I put my Nintendo 3DS in a plastic bag when not in use when I took it to school! Yeah, not a great idea, because one of those days, I take it out of my backpack and out of my locker at the end of the school day to prepare for when getting on the bus, and I accidentally dropped it on the hard floor in the hallway!! :(
I was in the 5th grade, and I had a Yoshi cover on the top and bottom of my systems. I don't know what happened to that, but I remember got it mistaken for the Yoshi edition by my second-cousin about 10 days prior when he saw it once.
And that's when my life broke once that accident happened to my Nintendo 3DS, and I was being blamed for breaking it, even though it was an accident! I think I knew my family wouldn't help me, and boy I was right (mostly).
What I wish I knew back then: Keep my system safely protected when not in use!
That system helped me through the rest of 3rd grade when I got it in March 2013 after wanting to play Mario Kart DS for months that school year, and it helped me through the 4th grade when I played that game, Mario Kart 7, and New Super Mario Bros. 2! I had fun going to Michigan like 3-4 times with my Nintendo 3DS XL system during that period when I would bring it to some family members’ houses we visited and played them there with those who had their own system. That was a lot of fun, I gotta say! Can't forget about the StreetPass feature when it was HUGE and I had so many StreetPass tags and data for the games along with ways of obtaining Play Coins, especially for StreetPass Mii Plaza and Mario Kart 7, and it was really awesome in 2014 and 2015, and the same goes for New Super Mario Bros. 2 (Can’t forget about you, my first Nintendo 3DS game, Mario Party Island Tour that I mostly played in 2014!), and same with Nintendo 3DS Sound, where I never got StreetPass data on there ever again after my original system broke. The worst part is me getting downloadable content for Pokemon Shuffle on the 3DS like enough jewels, and then I had to start all over on my data and couldn’t even get extra jewels at no cost for repurchasing after I just spent my funds on that on the new data!
I didn't use it for a few days, and it didn't help that my my cheap-ass dad just glued the hinges and buttons together where I couldn't even press the shoulder buttons L and R as a way to fix the system because I could still use the system and play Mario Kart 7. It did not seem or feel right at all! He couldn't even take it to get it fixed to Nintendo or even contact them to help me, just like our Wii when it stopped reading discs with the disc drive that it had and wanted to play games on, especially GameCube games, not that he got me any back then anyway, so that was really bad!! Going the easy way to get me the new system, like the Wii Mini rather than preserving the memories that I had on my Wii and fixing just that. Same with the Nintendo 3DS XL situation. Pretty cheap and stupid if you ask me!
I didn't think of how much valuable data of StreetPass that I had on there back then, either, until it was all gone. Because of the release of the New Nintendo 3DS XL edition in 2016, in April that year on my last day of my spring break that night, (I think I really wanted that system but…) without thinking, I throw my Nintendo 3DS XL system on the CARPET and it detached itself again (probably for being so fragile after my dad “fixed it”) and I break it apart to where it not so soon after, didn’t turn on. That was very devastating that night that my sister heard me crying, which didn’t help, but I did convince my dad to get that New Nintendo 3DS XL. I never got to see my Mario Kart 7, New Super Mario Bros. 2, and StreetPass Mii Plaza original data and so many StreetPass tags from that system ever again (Thank god for having Mario Party: Island Tour and Super Smash Bros. 3DS on physical media!!), and all of those Special Miis from Nintendo that they would send over on StreetPass Mii Plaza too!!! I made a lot of progress on Mario Kart 7 too that I had to start all over on due to the softwares being digitally downloaded!! Needless to say, I broke my New Nintendo 3DS XL upper screen not much later after getting the new system. Probably should’ve gotten the 3DS system repaired in the first place. But that is a story for another time.

Anyways, I just wanted to share the time that I had with my Nintendo 3DS XL and most of the memories that I had with it before I broke it accidentally and then officially broken where it was unusable, especially the last month before it happened and what happened then. I wanted to share memories of what I did in 4th and 5th grade, and a bit of the end of 3rd grade. Thanks for reading!

Do you think Nintendo is focusing a bit too much on the Nintendo Switch (and Switch 2) systems and games lately?

I miss when they focused on a portable game system and handheld game system at the same time instead of one oversimplified system/console and the predecessor. Such as when they focused on the Wii and Nintendo DS/DSi systems, and then the WiiU and Nintendo 3DS systems. Those were the days!

Check my most recent video of me talking about the new YouTube rules and also what has happened with the world due to technology and how it used to be all different.
Hope my channel doesn’t get removed because of this and we can all access my content.

I miss the old days from 2017-2019 when I used to be much more active on the channel, having motivation to play and complete several games that I would only do it on the channel. Those days were so much more fun and less overwhelming than I thought. I would play a lot and have lots of fun! Games like Super Smash Bros. Brawl and WiiU, Mario Kart 64, Mario Party 2, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Star Fox 64, and Mario Kart Wii were the games. And later, Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resort, and Wii Play for a bit, although I didn’t try challenging myself hard for those games. I would just play many games for fun and have some fun playing through the story to unlock more.
These days, I hardly play or have motivation to play, even on my own. I have like twice as many games as before and many of them I do enjoy, including games that I wanted to play for years but never did. I don’t know. I miss those days when I was so focused on the games and didn’t care much about socializing or having friends (except a couple friends) or being outgoing. 7th and 8th grade were my school years to shine on the channel and just play and share and love, even if I had small problems then too. Such as a lack of an audience watching.

Do you know what I hate most about playing Mario Party games???

When my rolls, even with multiple dice blocks, are so damn low. It happens so often, more than you think. Especially right before a star or item shop spot.

Edit: When I played on Bowser’s Magma Mountain in Mario Party just now in a 35 turn minigame, 1/3 (one-third) of my rolls were 1s, 2s, and 3s. I’m not joking!
Most of them were right before Boo, or the star, and even Koopa Troopa!

Hey, everyone. I'm not sure any of you noticed, but yesterday (May 17 2025) marked 10 years since I first used this account for YouTube, which I thought was today just a few days ago since I was planning to celebrate with Mario Party 2. I remember when I didn't know how to really use it or what my Watch Later was or even the knowledge of subscriptions. All I did was watch YouTube videos that I wanted to look for and they were entertaining ones before I used this account to use YouTube. Then, I started subscribing to others for the first time, before I started making and uploading videos myself. Then I subscribed to more and more users that were my favorites at the time or who I have appreciated or known. Can't forget about liking videos, adding videos to playlists, commenting, live chats.
But livestreaming became the next thing I knew about and did often from July 2017 to August 2019 before slowing down stepping back, having new interests, struggling with time management and goals where I either did it a lot or not really at all, but still less frequently than those two years. Man, those days were good days when I would plan to make YouTube videos and livestreams by playing and completing the games that I had. Goals were great even though some were left out. Still having a low audience on YouTube despite the number of subscribers, but that's okay. I like doing what I like anyways. You all can too!

Anyways, unfortunately, I will not be able to livestream tonight. I tried what I could but for some reason livestreaming from my basement just doesn't work anymore because I don't know what is wrong with my internet service or provider when it did just fine before. Now it is very slow when I do it down there, which is why I moved my Wii upstairs for Super Mario Galaxy. I still have to look into that Wii since I haven't and the internet problem on there. But I will record me playing for YouTube, so stay tuned for that anniversary video. Better late than never when I want to do it and share, so have a good night, everyone!

What Backstreet Boys international album with some songs on the U.S. album do you think are better or more worth listening to quality wise? The first one with We’ve Got It Goin’ On, Anywhere for You, Get Down, Quit Playing Games, and I’ll Never Break Your Heart or the second international album with Everybody, As Long as You Love Me, and All I Have to Give?
I’ve had a more fun time with the singles on the first album when I was younger more (especially Get Down), but being older, considering that I hear the three songs on the second album in places more than the previous five, I’ll have to say the second international album is more enjoyable and appealing even if there are fewer familiar songs on it. They just go better together in my opinion.
I still have many songs from both albums that I have yet to hear other than those eight songs that I mentioned.
Also, the second international album has the same cover as the first U.S. Backstreet Boys album so don’t get them confused and worry if some songs are missing.

So I saw the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct yesterday. It got me hyped up yesterday seeing the Nintendo Switch 2 system and the brand new Mario Kart game after a long time, and I liked the upgrade pack to Super Mario Party Jamboree and Nintendo GameCube classic games for Nintendo Switch Online 2!!! I don’t know if I will buy it from the start since I am still feeling anti-supportive of new games and game systems.
Anyways, I guess considering the popularity of the original Nintendo Switch, I guess the system continues to live on since now we have the 2 in its name, just like PlayStation having I believe five of them and the ones after the first four named. No surprise now hearing about Nintendo Switch 3 or 4 in the future, although I do not support similarly designed consoles anymore. I do miss the CDs that were used for games, too. Thank you Nintendo GameCube, Wii, and WiiU!

Fuck copyright laws and consequences on YouTube.
Does that mean I can’t upload TV show content at all anymore or have anything lying around from the past? How would I know if something would get a copyright claim instead of a copyright strike, which is riskier and could end the channel and all of that hard work from all of those years?

Edit: Still, though. It’s very unfair to be closer to terminiate an account like that. Not this account, but another one that I made and won’t specify. I got a copyright strike on here before when YouTube decided to later block worldwide a Drake & Josh episode from Nickelodeon UK that I created and combined with sound (since my recording had no sound). I spent several hours back in May 2020 on one night for like 8 hours rewatching Number One Fan and creating my own closed captions for it on YouTube and I didn’t sleep until 8 am! Not gonna lie, it was fun. Is that wrong that I tried going over what the people were saying to try to do this when I liked closed captions? Yes, it was a lot. But could we admit we could like appreciate watching clips, listening to music, whatever else is there too?
I still don’t understand why that video I uploaded on another channel already did get a copyright claim when I first uploaded it where it was blocked everywhere but Canada, and then it decided to give that account a strike and block worldwide. Today it happened with that. It was me uploading Nickelodeon UK video recorded with my phone of the beginning of Blues Brothers (first half) from May 2019 and then I decided to upload it as a way to celebrate 15 years of that episode.

I don’t know if something bad will happen to my channel because of this, as I still have several TV show related uploads, but I hope YouTube won’t be this strict on me and also others. When I uploaded those, I thought they could be for entertainment uses only that I found entertaining. I don’t have to make money on them. Although this was a way to get more subscribers back in 2019 and 2020 by doing something else when I was feeling lonely on YouTube and the pace was going very slow for growth, especially my subscriber and viewer count on livestreams (still the case now even with like double the subscribers as back then). Help each other, guys.

Instagram over YouTube any day for this, which doesn’t have restrictions like this. Although for the other activities, it can.
